Tired and worn hotel The best description I can give for this hotel is “tired”. Most Hampton Inns are bright and airy, and while they may be basic, they provide a decent room at a decent price. Here, everything was cramped and threadbare, the carpeting was worn and dingy, and the room reeked of cigarette smoke. The breakfast was also substandard, even by the low standards of a Hampton Inn breakfast. My recommendation would be “look elsewhere”, if at all possible.

Location, location, location This property is on the edge of a vast and ugly shopping mall, but that does mean that food and shopping possibilities are plentiful and nearby. It's also right next to I-20 and an easy drive to TCU through some very scenic neighborhoods. I appreciated these qualities more than the hotel itself, which is one of the more cramped Hampton Inns I've stayed in. The free breakfast was welcome but I saw many guests taking plates of food back to their rooms because of limited seating. My single room was probably more spacious than most, due to its accessible features. I didn't sleep very well due to difficulties controlling the room temperature, which seemed to have only two settings: no cooling at all or freezing AC full blast. Finally, I like to exercise when I'm on the road, but both treadmills were not working in the small fitness center, definitely not cool.

Bizarrely Quiet..Bc of Front Desk I Assume I walked in and the front desk attendant made a face at me? It’s 80 degrees out..im wearing a mini skirt and ruffled top feeling cute and happy and she shot that down IMMEDIATELY. A SUPER cold greeting. Is she TRYING to scare business away or is she that clueless about hospitality? Room: Feels old, dusty, “vintage.” You know the smell. Stale. Not looking forward to breakfast tomorrow I hear it’s horrible. Half of the TV channels don’t work not even bravo or MTV I’ll get through this and not come back .

Brenda the assistant manager is racist!!!!! I had the worse stay at this hotel . Brenda the assistant manager was very racist. She wasn't friendly at all. I called her with a complaint, and she hung up in my face. The breakfast was nasty and cold. The staff were not friendly. My room was dirty stains on the towels on the sheets and had a really bad smell to it. I called down to speak with the manager and she was not pleasant. I would never stay here again.

Best of the Hampton Inns This was perhaps the best Hampton Inn that we have ever stayed in. The personnel behind the desk were the best I’ve ever dealt with. The rooms were clean, quiet and convenient. They were also very flexible with me because I had to add an extra day after that.I give this place my highest recommendations.
