Pros and cons of this historic hotel Pros: - historic charm - great location for the cattle drive and rodeo shows, - very nice staff Cons: - noisy A/C (had to use earplugs and sleeping pill) - old plumbing This being said, a (badly needed) renovation is scheduled for November 2024.

Housekeeping stole my jackets Sadly, I am rating this hotel 1 star when the my visit should have been 5 stars. My boyfriend and I had left our rain jackets in the closet of our room, and it wasn’t very long before I noticed from the time we left the hotel. I called that day and several days after asking about my jackets. The hotel staff said they couldn’t check the room because someone was staying in it. They could have reached out to the guests staying there to ask if they could quickly check. Nevertheless, it most likely wasn’t the guests who STOLE our jackets, because housekeeping supposedly checks and cleans the room in and out before checking in new guests. I called back when I got home and asked a manager what we could do, they offered a refund for the room. Many weeks go by and I called back multiple times asking about my refund. They offered a promise that they could not keep. I never received a refund. Don’t stay here if you don’t want your items stolen from the staff. It’s highly disappointing.

Best in Fort Worth The Stockyards Hotel is one of the best, if not THE best, hotel in Fort Worth! From the moment we walked in, everyone was so extremely friendly and helpful. The decor is beautiful, the bed was the most comfortable and pillows fluffiest of all the hotels we stayed in during our 8 day Texas trip! Oh...and the shower?....amazing!. The attached restaurant,H3 served the best steak I think I've ever eaten. The location to the daily cattle run couldn't be better. I look forward to returning to Fort Worth and staying nowhere but here!

History visited Great stay. We got to stay in the Outlaw suite. No complaints. Had our 3 small dogs with us. Staff was great. We love going to places like this. Everything was within walking distance. Ate at Booger Reds. It was very good. We'll definitely be back!

Great location. Excellent authentic hotel I stayed here for 1 night for the experience and the hotel didn’t disappointed. The hotel overall was very good. The location is excellent. It is literally bang in the middle of the Fort Worth Stockyards and everywhere is walkable. * Parking Tip* - The parking situation is a bit of a tourist trap, however we eventually discovered that all streets west of the Main Street, opposite the hotel were free, so whilst some were paying $28 dollars a day for valet parking, others paying $10/15 a day for car parks, we had free parking closer to the hotel that all those paying. The staff were friendly and helpful at check-in. The rooms and hotel itself is very much optimised to suit the ‘Wild West’ theme and are well kept and well maintained. Everything appears clean and tidy and looked after. There’s a lot of poor reviews saying that the hotel needs TLC, but a lot of the old appearance is the whole aesthetics of the place, so I think a lot of those comments are uncalled for. Overall we had a great stay and would very much recommend the hotel and we’d happily return.
