Call Ahead to Check on Dining Availability We enjoyed a beautiful large room with a private patio and views for our one night stay. The restaurant was closed which was disappointing as I selected this stay based on it being open. The unit above us seemed to have water running forever and from the sounds of running footsteps back and forth I would guess it was kiddie bath time. If total quiet is what you want, you may or may not get it, the walls are indeed paper thin. The bed was comfortable and the pillows looked lumpy but were fine. The bathroom was good, I just need to mention though that the toilet in our unit was so low...I mean really "oh my achy knee" low. We drove out and enjoyed dinner at Sofrito and loved it. We would not have found it had the on-site restaurant been open, so all in all, it has been a lovely stay. Would we stay again?....maybe...off season rates were fantastic and Fountain Hills is fun to explore.

Great Stay!! Decided to take an overnight stay. With Covid we haven’t gotten out a lot. Attempted a similar staycation last year in Scottsdale and were disappointed. Looked up this establishment and thought we would give it a shot. We had a wonderful overnight stay. Great location, friendly staff and rooms with great views of the surrounding hills and desert. We stayed in room 262, an end unit, and staying there on a Thursday, it was quiet. Not a lot of people there at this time, which worked especially with the pool area, not big but clean and comfortable. Room was clean, comfortable as well and has a balcony with seating. If you do get a second floor room, there is quite a few steps. No valet service but it didn’t matter to us. Great restaurant, Pietro’s, on site with great food and staff. We would recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. We will be back in the near future.

Property needs a Make-Over Noisy, shabby, poor water pressure. Did I mention the noise when other rooms flushed? Frayed towels. No food on property due to Covid. Room smelled of pesticides and only other room available involved 2 sets of stairs. Fountain Hills deserves better.

Air Conditioning not working The carpet needs cleaning, The shower and sink constantly drip. The grout needs to be replaced. The Air conditioning worked very poorly when we arrived. Then failed that night. The repair man put 2 lbs of Freon in the unit. The front door lock mechanism needs to be replaced. The staff was obviously to any complaints and compensation. When you are in Arizona the air needs to work properly! The hotel needs people to maintain the facility! It could be a great place to stay.

First time back in vacay land. The good - spacious rooms with a fireplace and amazing views. Nice pool and laid back atmosphere. The bad - our AC was whirling and loud. Thankfully the nights were still cool enough that we didn’t have to keep it on at night. The bed is awful and the pillows were so bad we actually had to shop for our own - I mean REALLY bad and my sensitive nose did not do well with the smell of them. The shower head is pretty lame and I think the towels are older than me. We typically like the restaurant but it’s closed. A few updates and we will return. We have stayed 5 or 6 times and every time it’s get grosser and grosser. Mattresses, pillows, linen, towels and some service to running motors please. We love it here but likely won’t be back.
