Would Stay Here Again Visiting area distilleries trip. Mostly clean and breakfast was good. Convenient location downtown with short drives to Wild Turkey, Four Roses, Woodford, Castle and Key. 3-minutes to Buffalo Trace. The hotel itself could use a face-lift... older furnishings. The was probably a bustling spot in its heyday. Lobby was a bit dark and bar area was not open. Good value though... would stay here again.

Very dated, gloomy lobby, but a comfortable sleep A faded glory of a hotel. In its prime, it must have been very impressive, but it is well past its heyday. Dreadfully dated, and the lobby was so gloomy, it had areas that looked as though they should have been in a care home.
Having said that , the staff were good, the room was comfortable and quiet, and the breakfast was OK.

Nice Stay Here I had stayed here in the distant past and decided to do so again while in town to perform at a nearby park. I stayed just the one night. The hotel had undergone some nice upgrades from Hotel Impossible TV show and the waterfall in the lobby is breathtaking. The clerk was great as she showed my photos of how to enter the parking garage. There is a free breakfast in the mornings and it has a lot of food items. The only thing not 100% was that my room shows signs of wear and tear. It w good though and I would stay agian.

Stay Found this place on Google. The hotel is 5 mins away from KSU. And walking distance to great eatery. Hotel was nice and clean in a really good location. Ms Alice and Ms Deanna are so sweet and welcoming made our stay very pleasant. Only suggestion I have is to update the rooms they need a little face lift modern look..lol. but I would definitely recommend and I will make this my frequent stay when I'm here. Book with them if needing quiet/clean place to stay.

Lack of communication We stopped overnight after a whiskey tour. We booked this hotel for location, free breakfast and pool.
The pool was broke- no notice before checking in.
Breakfast was fully stocked. Rooms were clean but no cable cord for the tv!
There was no restaurant in the hotel and was not told till check in. So we had to walk blocks to find a place open.
The parking was sketchy due to construction on parking garage- was not told till check in.
They need to update the website of these changes prior to people booking.
