What you need. This is the place to stay on the Island! It has what you need, comfortable bed and hot shower and the best staff. You are greated with with a smile and feel warm inside. Now if you want to spend all your time in the room and not iut in nature then you may want to go some place else. This place is for those who love nature! The pic is at the harbor, just saying.

Great, cheap option for solo travel. I originally was hesitant to stay here but it was a very pleasant experience! Staff was very friendly and my room was clean and cozy. I stayed in one of the micro rooms which ended up perfect for me as a single traveler. I would for sure make sure you are aware of the size of the room you are staying in before you make your reservation. When I first went in my room it smelled very nice! I always worry about how rooms will smell, especially in smaller places. And it was also nice that it didn’t smell like a fragrance used to cover up smells. I was there for 4 nights and it smelled nice the whole time. Also the AC worked amazingly. It wasn’t very hot while I was there, but in the 70s and I have to sleep pretty cold. Overall I felt safe and the room was relatively quiet. You could occasionally hear the people in the room next to me but it was not bothersome. And one of the best parts is they actually have a fan in the bathroom! I plan on staying here whenever I’m traveling alone. You can’t beat the price of the micro rooms!

Will stay here again This was our first time staying here. We booked a king room, which was a good size for me and my husband. The room was clean, the bathroom was huge, and the bed was comfortable. We found it easy to walk into downtown for dinner. The San Juan Island Brewery was especially good. We also loved the pecan butter tarts from Bakery San Juan, which is close by. Be sure to read the history of the Orca Inn buildings, and I highly recommend booking directly through the Inn's website.

Clean, friendly & saves you money! Clean friendly and saves you money! Good location close to delicious San Juan bakery & a well stocked grocery. Everything you need if you are fine with a smaller than normal room. Air conditioning- something not every San Juan stays have, microwave and refrigerator too.
