1 Night Getaway Vacation to see the Hot Air Balloon Festival in Galesburg, Il. Beautiful room with comfortable beds and pillows. Separate vanity with blow dryer outside of bathroom was nice. Pool was really fun. Used it in the afternoon and after breakfast before 11:00 am checkout. Breakfast room had pretty chaffing dishes with eggs, sausages and potatoes. Fresh waffles and apple/ orange juices. Selection of milks and yogurts were offered. Of course coffee was available.

Pleased with my stay Overall, this was a very nice stay. The room was comfortable and clean. I am happy with the placement I requested as well. The breakfast was good and there was plenty for all that came into the area.

Worst hotel in Galesburg Ive stayed here maybe 8 times over the last 5 years. This will be the last. Someone tried to break into our room at 1 a.m. They were able to open the door and luckily we had the safery bar up. The jacuzzi tub was broken in our room that we paid extra for. Ive also encountered mold, broken heaters, uncleaned roomed like used soap and hair still in the room, and upset stomach from their breakfast almost every time. Super thin walls and you can hear everything through connecting doors. Musty smelling building with old carpet, broken looks to the outside of the building. Not sure if the other reviewers have tried the other hotels in town. I gave this one another try because I heard they remodeled.

The breakfast staff were wonderful We just had a nice experience at this nice hotel. The room was clean and neat. The location was great--very close to the downtown of Galesburg. . We really enjoyed the breakfast, especially the very friendly and interactive staff. That made the breakfast experience fun and enjoyable. We met the owner and he is doing a great job running the hotel.

Don't Waste Your Money Choose this hotel because of the Best Western affiliation. It doesn't deserve the Best Western name. The carpet was dirty, there were pubic hairs in the bathtub, the liquid soap dispensers were empty, the toilet wanted to overflow and the towels felt like they were made with sandpaper or steel wool. In addition, one of the access point key readers didn't work. The only positive note was the friendliness of the front desk clerk when we checked in. Don't waste your money, find another place to stay in Galesburg.
