BEDS ARE SMALLER THAN ADVERTISED This was the hotel that the bride and groom booked for the wedding we were attending so we did not really have a choice of where to stay. That being said I would never recommend anyone stay here. First of all the rates were expensive. I know that since COVID things have gone up but there was not one complimentary perk. No water or coffee in the lobby, breakfast or even luggage carts. They do have luggage carts, but they are a part of their bell-hop service, which came off not as hospitable but as a way to gain a tip from guests who were already spending decent money to stay here. Additionally they try to bully you into using their valet parking service. The self- park is not only inconvenient but it is very far away from the main entrance to the hotel. We pulled up out front and wanted to unload our car and self-park as to not pay for valet and the entire time the valet attendant was very aggressive trying to get us to let him help us and to park our car for us. I almost had to tell him to back off. We also had an issue with our room. We booked a room with a king sized bed. However the bed was not a king sized bed. When we finally went to go to sleep we realized the bed felt small and closer to the size of our queen bed at home so we measured it and yes, it was in fact a queen sized bed. We were also sharing a bed with our three year old so this was not an option. We called the front desk expressing our concern and were told that the bed was a king sized bed. A lie. The person at the front desk was actually arguing with us that the bed was a king sized bed. "No one has ever complained before." At this point we asked to be moved to a room with two queen sized beds so that we could have adequate space. After back and forth and another half hour we were finally settled in a room with two queen sized beds. Except they were not queen sized beds, but full sized beds. For the cost of the rooms you should be getting the beds and space that you are paying for. The rest of the weekend when we mentioned to other people staying for the wedding about the size of the beds they agreed with us that they were small. The hotel is also very large so it is confusing to navigate, especially if you are trying to get to and from multiple rooms for a wedding party, like I was. There was not enough signage to tell you where to go and I often ended up at the end of a hallway having to turn around and try another hallway to get to where I was going. Make sure you utilize the hotel map that is located in your room so you don't get lost.

Beautiful hotel with lack of emergency skills Fire alarm at 4am and staff did not give any direction or get everyone out of the building. No communication at all. Fire did not show up until 40 minutes after evacuation. Thank goodness not a real Fire or people could have been hurt. Beautiful facility but thos experience has left me concerned for future emergency.

Nicer than some hotels but not top tier. solid three stars. Rooms are OK nothing to write home about. Mine had a bit of a musky smell to it. I was traveling with two others and they had the same complaint about the smell. The Valet attendant make it very difficult to drop off your bags and check in. I think he was doing everything he could so we would have to tip him. While checking in I typically park near the front entrance so I can bring in my bags and check in. When I arrived at the hotel there were a couple cars pulled up at the front door so I drove down the driveway three of four car and found a spot out of the way so I didn't' block the entrance. As I was about to get out of my car a guy in a golfcart said that I couldn't park there. I told him I was just checking in and would move my car immediately after checking in and he said that I needed to park in front of the entrance. He's the one working there so, whatever. I circled around and parked in front of the door as instructed. As we were heading in to check in he said that I needed to give him my keys. I told him I wasn't using Valet and that I would be right back. He still demanded my keys, again whatever, so I gave him my keys. I checked in walked my bags to my room and came back out. 5 minutes max. He had taken my car and moved it to where I had originally parked it; after being addiment I couldn't park there. Now I had to wait for him to give me back my keys so I could move the car around back. Super inconvenient.

Also had a musty room We also stayed this past weekend for a wedding in the area (dont know if same wedding as the other reviewer). We had just enough time to check into the room before having to leave for the wedding. Room had a very heavy musty odor. We opened the windows hopefully to air it out while we were out for the wedding festivities. Definitely was worse from the ac unit when we adjusted the thermostat. We checked out early the next morning - otherwise would have requested another room if we planned to stay any longer. Didn’t get to use the pool, golf or restaurant but all appeared nice. Staff friendly enough.
