Older Hotel but clean This is an older property but we were pleased with the convenience of the location right across the beach. It was very clean and the staff was friendly throughout our stay. We did have some issue with the lock on the doors but nothing too major. The pool is really great and they serve coffee and juice 24 hours in the lobby

Motel sucks This is the worse place to stay it has roaches the people who work there are not nice rooms are nasty i seen rats swimming in pool no shower and elevator is very scary to ride in . worse place to stay

Great little place! This place has a great view and cute balconies. It’s older but everything was very clean and tidy. Room was perfect and we enjoyed that the floors were not carpet. The boardwalk is right out front with plenty of places to walk and places to eat.

Better stay your whole visit I am an local on Galveston Island and during the freeze that happened in Feb 2021 I had paid for a room for myself and my two kids for a stay of two days since we didn't have lights or water. We booked in around 4pm and stayed a full night the next day our power and water was restored and we had checked out before 11am. We where told that we would get a refund in check form for the amount of the room for the second stay. Yes I was informed that they didn't know exact time frame I would receive my check. So to inform everyone it is now almost May 2021 and I still haven't received my refund and every time I call I get the run around and the manager never is there the manager works from home. What kind of business is this? I know if Gary Druss was still running the Commodore I wouldn't be waiting two whole months for a refund for one stay. This is getting ridiculous..

Disappointed The room was all Dusty and balcony with trash wen we check in it was like this. Told the front desk and housekeepers, the only thing the y did took the trash from the balcony and there's only one elevator t, so we had to take the stairs most of the time ..
