Hairy Inn &Suites I will say the guy who was helping us out was at least nice about everything. We checked in and went to put our stuff down, I just glanced at the pillows and saw one small hair on the top one, then I life that pillow and saw a long hair. And there was a different color hair and length hair on every single pillow we had not even touched yet. 3 of the “clean” towels all had hairs some long some not The coffee pot had a long hair across the lid Brought my own cleaning supplies to use the jacuzzi. Ran hot water, vinegar, and Clorox through the jets for 5 minutes intervals 3 times and up came all this assortment of hairs and dirt, all present in the bubbles. Could not use the jacuzzi, towels, coffee pot, OR the bedding. Bedside table was half broken, just get rid of it, looks distasteful. TV had to be fixed for it to work, so the guy had to come inside the room…At least had toiletries and an ice bucket.

The smelly inn The rooms have potential to be very good but they need to be upgraded and cleaned better. The room smelled and we needed to go get air freshener. The smell of the rooms came from different sources the AC made the room smell musty and wet, the carpet needs a good shampoo (bring your slippers) my white socks got dirty walking around on it. The last smell I detected was from the bathroom the drain smelled of sewer gas and it was bad. The blankets were clean but didn’t have the usually strong clean/bleach smell you usually get when staying in a room. The walls were dirty also like they don’t get wiped down at all. Over all I would say this is an ok place to stay if you are going to be at the theme parks in the area all day, basically a place to rest and get ready in.

Perfectly Priced For Solo Trip Upon arrival I had asked for a specific room which was granted, large room & quiet room with a comfy bed. Large bathroom w/rails which helped since having RA in hands and knees made easier for me. Staff was amazing and super helpful and polite as was housekeeping. Clean, safe, and will be returning in a few months.

The worst place ever This is the worst place ever. Do not fall for any of the positive reviews. There is absolutely no reason anyone should ever choose to stay here. One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. Terrible location, terrible service , horrible customer care. Had paid through a prepaid service and they refused to take it. Run from this place!

Harbor Inn - Highly Advise Against Staying Here The booking at Days Inn Garden Grove was most dissatisfying. I had difficulty finding the location and reached out to the hotel. The representative was extremely rude on the phone indicating there was no medical center nearby and he had a customer in front of him saying, "you need to hold on." Essentially, the customer who had just arrived was more important than me, who was lost on the phone. Turns out, the medical complex I was in was directly next to the Days Inn (Harbor Inn) motel. Upon arrival and check in, I realized the door was broken and wouldn't shut all the way. There was also a very strong cleaning/chemical smell that was truly overpowering. It smelled like a strong carpet powder had been spread all over the room. Lastly, there was very little water pressure and the towels were all very tiny, as if for small children. With these items in mind, and with the ironing board propped up under the handle of the door for safety, I attempted to sleep and checked out in the morning, an early checkout from my 4 night scheduled stay. The manager was unavailable and the same representative told me the manager would call me regarding a refund for the early check out. I had checked in around 9pm and checked out before 9am the next day. I was charged a full 4 nights' stay PLUS a deposit and never heard back from the manager. I had to send an email through the app and received a short response of "Hi, we are sorry to let you know but the reservation was non refundable and non cancellation anytime." I called back and asked to speak to the manager and was told by a representative that because I was offered another room, I cannot receive a refund. I left my phone number again and emailed again asking that a manager call to speak with me directly. I have not received a call. I was, in fact, offered another room. However, I was not offered quality/caring service, I had a room that wreaked, I barely slept because I felt unsafe (the screws were literally falling out of the door lock), and the shower essentially didn't work. I showed the representative videos and pictures of all of these things. I assure you he did not care and did not seem surprised. What was the likelihood that another room would be better? And the fact that a manager will not speak to me speaks volumes. I would highly recommend that you seek another place to stay. Best wishes to all for safe travels and a stay that affords you simple comforts like a working door and shower.
