Perfect place..with amazing staff Came here on a spur of the moment idea with a teenager and my 80 yr old mom. This place has been awesome. Perfect location and the staff is wonderful. Kerry Ann and Abigail were soo accommodating and nice. They took time with us, and with every other group checking in. Kerry Ann went the extra mile and Abigail had another pot of coffee at just the right moment. Will definitely look to come here again.

Catfished by a hotel This hotel is the biggest catfish I’ve ever fallen for! It is definitely the dirtiest place I’ve ever stayed without going back to the front desk and demanding a refund. All the doors open to the parking lot like a motel 6. There is one elevator but it’s so tiny we could not ride with 4 people plus stroller. There are no “views” so don’t fall for the photos that look pretty. The river is across the street from the hotel. All the walkways on the floors are poorly patched cement and have mini potholes. The room was just as disappointing. Every corner was covered in dirt and dust. Our sink was clogged. The balcony was covered with rust and mold from the leaky AC and had obviously never been cleaned. There were cobwebs on every light fixture and stains on all the shades. There was a muddy footprint on the wall near the ceiling where I can only assume someone used a shoe to kill a bug. The white sheets had dark fuzz or lint all over them which I chose to believe is from washing but worried all night was because they had not been washed. The shampoo had not been refilled since the last stay which also made me feel uneasy that the room had not been cleaned. There was heavy water damage in the room that had warped the trim and the drywall but they had not repaired it, and just tried to paint over it. All of the caulk and grout in the bathroom was cracked so I’m sure there was mold issues that they keep just painting over. The exhaust fan in the bathroom has likely never been cleaned and was full of dust and the plastic housing was melted like it had overheated. The only redeeming thing about this whole room was they use bath and body works eucalyptus soaps so after the shower I smelled clean although I still felt dirty. I cannot believe they had the nerve to charge over $200 a night for this place! I will never return

Family vacation 2024 Very nice for a small independent place to stay. Staff are nice and accommodating. Rooms were clean. Only thing I can say as a way to improve is to add maybe a waffle maker to the breakfast. Frozen waffles for toaster would be an option at least for something warm.

Friendly Staff and Clean Hotel We chose this hotel based on the reviews, and in this case the reviews were spot on. The rooms and common areas were all clean. The pool area was nice, the water was clear and clean, and it was decent sized with enough deck chairs and tables. The staff was friendly and professional. We did have one issue, no cold water in the shower, but it was fixed within two hours. The office was not staffed until 8 AM, so the breakfast area was not accessible until then either. If you have to get up and go before that, whether to do tourist stuff or hit the road, this required some planning ahead. There was no hot breakfast; this property does not have a kitchen, and breakfast is "grab and go." This was fine for us, especially in summer, but if you are traveling with teens I could see this being an issue. This would not stop me from staying there again. One issue, and this was noticeable only because the rest of the property was so well kept; the floor covering (rubber mat it appeared) in the elevator was sticky and looked gross. I only included this comment (for the management mainly) because that is something that is an eyesore in an otherwise excellent hotel. I also know that kids often go to the pool barefoot. We also liked the location; tucked away a couple of blocks from the main drag. It was pretty quiet and within walking distance to some nice restaurants (BBQ, pizza/Italian, steak house). All of the rooms faced "inward" towards the pool and the wooded area around the hotel, not the concrete ramps and buildings located on the other side. Would definitely stay there again. A little high priced, but we are willing to pay for cleanliness and good service. Hint; ask for a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor since all rooms have balconies and a nice view.

A good independant motel Beds were comfortable. The room and bathroom were clean. There were Keurig machines in the room. The lighting in the room was a bit dark. The provided breakfast was a little disappointing. The location to town was very good. Not a posh hotel but we were comfortable and the price was right.
