Clean and centrally located The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom nice and large, and the walk-in shower was wonderful. Very helpful staff! Good breakfast included with your stay. Centrally located near shopping, restaurants, and tourist attractions. They have a loyalty program allowing you to save money if you are a repeat customer.

Our Favorite Gettysburg Address! The 1863 Inn is our go-to place to stay in Gettysburg. Great accommodations! Clean, comfy rooms with an invigorating shower and beds that my 14yo wants to steal. The staff is friendly and always helpful. The breakfast buffet includes waffles, eggs, potatoes sausages and gravy. The location (with free parking) is in walking distance to a variety of dining and shopping options and the Battlefield. The outdoor full size pool is a great way to start and or end your day. We are already planning our next trip!!!

Good option for visiting Gettysburg. This is hotel is a good base to visit Gettysburg. It is well placed and clean and comfy. The parking is free, as is the breakfast which is adequate. The rooms are a little dated but nothing to worry about. We slept really well and would certainly stay again if we visited Gettysburg.

Nice accommodations but dishonest manager The place was clean. Staff was unfriendly. Be sure to check your credit card statements if you stay here. We were charged an extra night’s stay for a mistake that was made by them when the original reservations were made. When trying to resolve the issue, the manager hung up on me.

Wonderful stay! Staff is lovely. Full hot breakfast was so nice to see. I seem to get a lot of bagels and prepackaged danish in other hotels. We enjoyed the pool which was sparkling clean. Even provided pool towels. Updated room with nice bathroom. Shower only which was fine for us. We could walk everywhere . To restaurants, shops, Cemetery Hill and graves. We even walked up the hill to circle and toured the David Wills house. Back of hotel is where pool is. The front looks at the street which is fun for people watching. All in all great experience and we will return.
