The brickhouse and Welty house We stayed 3 nights at the Brickhouse ( 2 nights in Alabama and 1 night in Texas). Our rooms were clean . The brickhouse is in a great location . Sam and Jason were fun and filled with information. We went on a ghost tour with Lisa and she was excellent.. We were disappointed that it is really not the typical bed and breakfast as breakfast is not included and quite pricey in our opinion if we wanted it ( needed 48 hr advance notice) The grab and go items were the same things for 3 days and the fruit was in very bad shape. Also the usual amenities ( toiletries) were not included either. The grounds needed some work , stairs were in disrepair with loose end protectors and it was obvious that the Welty house was in the midst of being painted . Not sure we would stay again for the price.

Great Location - Unreasonable Cancellation Policy We stayed here two times once under prior ownership and second time under new ownership. Love the location. However, going back may be unlikely unless we can get a last minute reservation in. Their cancellation policy is unreasonable. I stay in a lot of hotels and never seen policy like this. If you get sick at last minute or have a family emergency you lose your money. Not right.

Memorial Day Another great Gettysburg weekend at the Brickhouse Inn Inn within walking distance of all attractions and restaurants staff friendly and helpful rooms comfortable and clean this is our 6 th visit to the inn we do miss some of the charm of previous owners but does not deter us from coming back looking forward to next years visit
