special trip We stayed in the Pear tree suite with our daughter for a second time.Brian and AmyBeth are awesome people.They will make you feel at home and provide a fantastic breakfast every morning.A comfortable place to stay and we will be back to see more

Fantastic B&B in the heart of Gettysburg We stayed in the carriage house and were very comfortable. Two bedrooms, one bathroom, kitchen/dining area and living room. Amy and Brian were great hosts and the breakfast was so good that I want to go back. Comfortable bedding, nice large shower and plenty of space to just hang out. The garden area was beautiful and parking was conveniently located off street. You can walk to the shops, restaurants and bars from this great location. Can’t wait to come back and stay in the main house! I highly recommend the Brafferton Inn.

Charming colonial home We stayed in the Brafferton Suite, which is a bit down the street from the actual Inn. It was lovely with a sitting room off the bedroom and a very spacious bathroom with both a jacuzzi tub and a shower. There was a porch off the bath area but it was just too hot to take advantage of it. The bed was a beautiful four poster and very comfortable. The Hodges provided ear plugs which you needed as the room faces York Street and trucks go by all night long. The vibration kept my husband up but I did not notice it. If vibration bothers you pick a different room. The breakfast was delicious. There were three seatings which is quite accommodating. There were four choice of meals along with fruit and the most delicious lemon and poppyseed muffin filled with lemon cream. I could have made a meal on those! Both of the Hodges were super kind and cheerful. They clearly treat their guests like family. I cannot wait to come back.

Wonderful Brafferton Inn The Brafferton is a wonderful place to stay. The inn keepers are friendly, the rooms are decorated very nicely and the breakfast is so delicious. It is a great way to start your day. You won’t leave hungry. The little extra touches…coffee and tea, fresh-baked cookies, are always there anytime of the day. It’s relaxing to sit in the parlor and enjoy a snack, especially after a long day of walking the battlefields. Stay at the Brafferton Inn, you won’t be disappointed.

Don’t stay anywhere else The experience could not have been more pleasant. The owner was wonderful and accommodated our needs. Breakfast was delicious. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The B&B is centrally located making it easy to get around the sights. I would definitely love to return!
