Good location to SanTan Village I decided to stay here for 3 nights due to its close location to SanTan Village and all the endless food options. However, I must admit I was let down. As a Diamond member I get a daily food/drink credit. I used it for dinner and ordered nachos and pretzel with beer cheese to go. The nachos had chicken when I asked for pork. The chips were hard and stale. After a couple of bites I couldn’t keep going and tossed it. The pretzel was a disgrace. Wrinkly from microwaving it too much, and ripped into pieces, it was inedible. The pieces were literally rock hard. I was embarrassed they send this out and have it on the menu! Trashed. I didn’t order food the next day. The room is a good size. The shower head needs replacing. The AC unit is so loud I had to turn it off every night. The walls are so thin I heard the next door snoring and their phone conversations. Insane and annoying. Again, the room is decent if not for the outdated AC, thin walls, terrible food. The front desk was nice, the cookies are always bomb, and she did tell me they are undergoing renovations. They need it stat! Until then would not stay again.

Not as expected. False advertising. Booked due to the claims of restaurant and room service which is lacking in many hotels nowadays. This Hilton states it has a full restaurant and offers room service as well. Checked in and was told that they do not offer room service even though it is advertised on multiple areas on their website. The “bartender” had apparently not shown up for the evening and so the restaurant could not be ordered from. Sounds crazy to me but my family and I were very displeased. Was told they will have to make other arrangements and figure something out for the guests. No menus or anything provided in the hotel rooms. Pretty disappointing Hilton!

Run down, undermanned, poorly managed I wanted to be on that side of The Valley, and decided to treat myself to the nicest room at this hotel. What a mistake. It started when the room was not ready at 3 PM, nor 3:15, it was almost 4 PM. The room absolutely reeked of disinfectant. It was so strong, it took your breath away, but at least it was clean, or so it appeared. When I went to shower in the big shower ( which had no soap holder or place to set the shampoo, conditioner, etc, I noted a large cut across the middle of the floor, and there was mold around the edges and in the tike grout. In this ‘luxury’ room, the soap was about as big as a used up sliver. Actually the smallest soap Ive seen in ANY HOTEL. Which kind of set the mood for the small towels, the plastic cups, no amenities ( toothbrush, comb, etc). All in all, a very poorly appointed lux room. Did I mention that the furniture was a disaster? It was nice furniture, but very poorly maintained, the table top on the coffee table was terrible, and the edges through out the room were worn and beat up. This was also the noisiest room ever. Loud ac, and road noise was terrible too. What really was bad, when I checked out, I mentioned these things to the young lady with the horse shoe nose ring, she says’ sorry to hear that, have a nice day’

Not very welcoming Purchased two rooms for three nights for my family while they were visiting us in Gilbert. We chose this hotel due to the reviews and location. Unfortunately, my family's experience was very subpar for a Hilton hotel, even a dated Double Tree. To make matters worse, the night manager obviously would have preferred to be anywhere else other than the front desk. Attitude and personality was enough to have me looking to move my family from the hotel. There are other hotels in the area that we will be using in the future. I've been a Hilton Honors member for many years, to have this experience was very disappointing.

Old and tired The hotel is in a very nice/safe neighborhood. The highlight of this property is their pool. It was large and well maintained. However, it lacked enough chairs and towels were rarely replenished. Furnishings are very dated and worn. The real downside to this hotel is housekeeping. We had requested a daily room cleaning. Out of 5 nights our beds were made once and towels were replaced twice. We asked every morning to please have service. No luck. I consider Doubletree to be a nicer Hilton brand, but this one missed the mark.
