Don’t be fooled by the pics This hotel is just… well… one star is being gracious, especially considering how expensive it is (almost $1000 for three nights). Don’t be fooled by the pictures. The redeeming part of the hotel is the indoor pool and waterslide, but the pool is dirty. The chlorine smell is so strong and the sides of the pool are covered in grime, so much that kids have “written” their names in the grime on the tile. The floor around the outside of the pool is these odd rocks that hurt your feet. Breakfast is an overstatement. What they actually mean is some cereal, oatmeal you can make yourself, and some bagged pastries. Everything is empty constantly, and you have to ask the front desk staff for most items. The front desk staff is grumpy and it feels like you’ve intruded on them when you ask for anything, including checking in, and you have to ask them for pool towels every time you go to the pool so they get to look at you with a grumpy face multiple times per stay. Even upon checking in, we didn’t even have the girl say hello or really anything more than , “sign this” and “here’s your key.” The hotel is old, don’t be fooled by the pics of the entrance. The carpet is so dirty and disgusting in the hallways- noticeably so. I am not a person who notices these things so it must be bad. The rooms are nothing more than just beds and a TV. It’s not comfy. It’s mostly clean in the rooms… mostly. There’s noticeable dust and dirt in the corners and around the doorways.

Absolutely not — this place needs a total overhaul Absolutely never again. We stayed here for one night just passing through and would not have been able to handle another night. We had a king suite with bunk beds and it was truly disgusting. The bathrooms feel like a dark and dirty gym locker room, the bedding was old, tattered, and stained, and the rooms themselves are woefully outdated with stains on the walls and ceiling. My kids loved the pool, but it is NOT a water park. It’s a pool with a slide. The breakfast was fine, but we were there for over 45 minutes and never saw a single attendant. The only saving grace was the location. You couldn’t pay me to sleep here again.

Nice hotel Nice place. Lobby looks recently renovated. Rooms were clean. We had a family suite with a separate room for the kids with a nice bunk bed. Our kids loved the indoor water park and spent hours on the slide. Location is nice and convenient to the Adventure Park and restaurants downtown.

Won’t return til renovated Great location and pool. Trip with kids. Good family accommodations. But badly in need of update. Shabby carpets gave the place a dingy look. Also in need of a deep clean. Lighting in our suite was very dim. Blankets on beds not changed between guests. Gross. Won’t return until renovated. Breakfast area not kept clean during breakfast hours.

No pool, no compensation We booked this hotel specifically for the pool for our 3 kids. Upon arrival, it was closed. They said they hoped it would open in a couple of hours. In reality, it opened an hour before checkout on the last day of our stay. The manager was "not able to offer any compensation" because they were able "to open it before checkout". She did offer to extend our stay by a couple hours, but obviously, we have other plans, which is why we checked out on this day. I get that things happen. However, it's a hotel's responsibility to compensate guests when they do. On the whole, this hotel is mediocre at best. With it's only redeeming feature closed, it was awful. Without the pool, there is no way we would have paid what we did considering all the other options in town. Look elsewhere.
