DISGUSTING My Sister checked into her room today to find her bed unmade with tissues in the bed. She complained to the front desk, and they indicated there was nothing they could do. They provided her with new sheets to change the bedding. My sister is not one to complain but I will not allow this to go unnoticed. I will be contacting corporate.

Dirty bathrooms and bad management The hotel is not managed well. The bathtub was not clean and didn't drain properly resulting in standing in ankle deep water. We notified the manager and they did nothing. We were celebrating our sons graduation from high school and rented a double queen suite. This hotel does not meet IHG standards. We requested a different room but were told they were sold out. At check out they offered a $25. Inconvenience refund. Our stay was well over $300. We are IHG silver elite members. I wouldn't stay at this place again.

A Hotel in Need of Well Trained MODs and Thorough Training in Problem Solving The elevator stopped operating, the housekeeping was never performed thoroughly, the hotel WiFi connection never was operational to connect our laptop, during our entire stay! The hotel provided breakfast didn’t have the staff to even turn on the the lights in the food room! Nor did the staff person communicate adequately in English. The Comcast Business television guide never provided individual channel information and none of the hotel staff knew how to contact the provider for the solution! The Night Auditor was the only person available to determine that ALL of the other hotel rooms were in the same state! I would strongly suggest that yo very with the in-house management, that ALL of these issues have been corrected, before you put any of your hard earned money!

Slip / Trip Hazards Make this Not Recommended The hotel is a typical Holiday Inn Express, and the staff is very courteous. The issue is with slip/trip/fall hazards. There had been a heavy snowfall several days ago and the sidewalks still were not cleaned, even after the temp reached 60 degrees during my visit. The side doors opened onto icy pavement that would be disastrous during an emergency evacuation. The handicapped parking spots had snow in them and the sidewalk was inaccessible. I did not need to park there, but I work in insurance and safety. The bathtub handicapped bar was on the wall between the toilet and the shower, convenient to neither. The tub drain wouldn't close, so I couldn't take a tub bath at night. I showered instead, and was struck by the fact that the tub was slippery and sloped, with nothing to hold onto. The hotel had a pretty bad paint job, with outlets showing that someone had rolled the paint right over them. The same was true in the breakfast area. It looked like the paint was fairly new, but it was haphazardly applied. The room had several USB connections but the ones near the bed didn't work unless I used a 120V adaptor (they were bent). The USB connections under the TV were okay. The TV was fixed to the wall and wouldn't rotate. There was a nice work desk but you couldn't really watch the TV unless you were on the bed. My room (201) was pretty quiet. I always ask for a room away from elevators, and it wasn't bad, although I heard the highway occasionally and trains several times during the night. There was a Keurig in the room, along with a fridge. The cabinet in which the Keurig was placed made it a little difficult to fill. The breakfast had a selection of Chobani yogurt, fresh fruit, and many hot items. It was served on time. The breakfast area is sunny and has many work/eating tables, but not many places to plug in a computer. IHG usually has pretty good quality control for its HI brand, and I'm sure this one could be improved. It's in a good location (I had business in Syracuse, IN).

I was given the noisiest room in the whole hotel I booked a jacuzzi suite and was given room 111 = this is definitely the nosiest room in this hotel: right between the elevator (constantly dinging and sure people talking) and the lobby (I could even hear people checking in). The general manager told me, there is no other room vacant. So I had to stay in this loud room :-( After 10 pm some youngsters have a chitchat in the lobby = no one of the staff took care of that incident. At 11:30 pm I put in oropax to just catch a little sleep. The phone didn’t work, the bathroom lamp didn’t work, the pool is closed. And the jacuzzi needs 53 minutes to be filled (see picture).
