Terrible Very unprofessional, when I checked in front desk tried to charge me $150 for deposit. Then he made an unauthorized charge on my card without my consent. Spoke with the manager and she refused to refund my money and lied about the whole situation

Home away from home We loved the Granada Inn being close to family in the area. The rooms are comfortable and have a fridge and microwave plus coffee, updated baths and such lovely folks running it. We really loved how friendly it was, easy to stay and great location. 100% will return for our next stay. Book on their own website for sure.

Guy at front desk is rude or racist The staff was rude and I drove from the Bay Area to go to a birthday dinner at 3pm and I drove 8 hours and when I arrived at hotel the guy at the desk charged me an extra 28 dollars for coming before 3 and I was given a room back in a corner under the steps and the room was terrible the bathroom didn’t have a vanity or anything in it just a toilet and face bowl and it was noisy and they told me I can’t have any one come to the room and visit and I came from out of town and my daughter and grandkids came to see me and we had to meet across the street and the gas station and the rooms is nothing like the pictures they advertise I will never stay there again and I recommend that nobody go there. It’s a terrible place.

A BIG FIASCO! WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!!! This review is for GRANADA INN in Rinaldi st, GRANADA HILLS & NOT for any other hotel or inn with same name in Los Angeles or anywhere in the world. I RARELY give a BAD REVIEW but I need to share our experience last Mar 5: 1) WI-FI did NOT work despite numerous attempts of the efficient receptionist_ 2) TELEPHONE did NOT work too. - I had to walk to the office to complain 3) TV did NOT also work _. However, it was later fixed by front desk staff. 4) WORST THING for this handicap room:_ -The bathroom FLOODED_, at least 2 inches water. My husband only washed his feet. I made sure knob/ handle was tightly closed. But an hour later, WATER was everywhere. There must be a LEAK somewhere. The shower drain was obviously clogged for that much water to accumulate_ in the whole big bathroom. Although it was so late, staff moved us to the next room. Very INCONVENIENT & CUMBERSOME! _ but necessary. He brought lots of towels but they were not enough to cover the bathroom lake. My husband ALMOST FELL in the water_ while I was packing. I had to go in fast (when I heard him going inside) before an accident could happen. DANGEROUS bathroom scenario. 5) Next Room (room 102) Problems: a) HEATER did not work properly-_ I had to raise temp to 89 to adequately heat the room. Previous room (#101) was warm enough with temp set @72. b) BATHROOM DOOR_ It looks so sturdy & feels heavy but when my husband (who’s weak & wobbly after his hosp discharge that day) tried to open & slide it, but the door somehow came off & HIT his head._Fortunately, I was able to catch him before he would fall to the floor. I had to push that door against the wall. Thankfully, the glass was not broken__. He later complained of moderate to severe headache. I’ve had 2 recent surgeries for cancer __& lifting >5 lbs is not allowed at this time but with my husband’s predicament & near accidents, I had to exert so much effort _ to support his 200 lb weight & prevent him from falling down. 6) HANDICAP PARKING It’s located in front of the reception area. That’s NOT appropriate since the handicap room is NOT nearby. My husband had to walk with difficulty_to our assigned room. HANDICAP PARKING should be RIGHT NEXT to the handicap room. I had to suggest that when we first check in & when we checked out. Minor inconveniences: 1) limited parking 2) noise from the freeway since it very, very close to 405N entrance 3) no working vending machine (work order for repair mentioned by receptionist) in the facility at that time. Unfortunately, there’s no complimentary water bottles for guests inside the room like most hotels & inns now provide. You have to drive to the gas station to buy them. I had to ask the front desk guy to give me a cup of water for my husband to take with his meds right away. I sent an email concerning our issues during our stay to 2 depts, including customer service but received NO RESPONSE, as if they did NOT care at all. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Be VERY WARY of this place... We’ve travelled to almost 120 countries & this is the 1st time we had this fiasco. It looks updated & clean but ACCIDENTS could easily happen there. In 1 night, we encountered dangerous problems with 2 rooms_. I don’t believe in coincidences. Your health is at stake here.

THE WORST STAY EVER We had stayed there before (under the previous management come to find out what had changed from then to now) and was happy. But now the new management don't care about your concerns and when you address them your called a liar even when the staff came in to your room to bring you new bedding because of all the hair in your bed. And she didn't even act surprised when she saw it either. I was there for a funeral for my grandfather so we needed 5 rooms and because of the issues in 2 of them we all had to scramble around at the last minute because of the gross bedding and clogged sinks. The manager is never there and ignores your calls. For the price you pay for a night you might as well take the drive and stay in Santa Clarita at the Hilton.
