Best Weekend Stay I stayed at the Westin this past weekend with my family (young kids included). We had a fantastic time from start to finish. We checked-in at 11am and the front desk staff was kind enough to upgrade our room. The pool/food attendants were very friendly and attentive each time we visited the pool area. The only downside to the pool, was that it was full of debris. The breakfast was delivered on time and the delivery guy was very pleasant. The grounds were kept very clean. Even to the housekeeping staff greeted us with a smile and even offered to take our beach towels so that we didnt have to make the trip to return them ourselves. I really enjoyed the lounge area on the 2nd floor - it was a way for me to take some time for myself when I needed a break from the kids. On the day that we checked-out, the front desk staff Nalini attended to us and she was incredibly welcoming and helpful with explaining our bill and asking us about our stay. Overall our stay was the "best weekend stay" ever and we will definitely be back.

Worst Service Ever I went to enjoy an afternoon at their beach since they rent the beach beds there. When I arrived I took one of the beds and while I was accommodating myself the beach attendant approached asking me to please leave because the minimum consumption to be on the chairs was $30.00. I asked him why was he assuming I was not going to spend that amount of money and he told me that his supervisor sent him to say so. I felt so discriminated and I cannot believe that is the type of service they offer on a recognized Marriott brand.

Not Worth the Price - Go to the Ritz! We stayed here for one night (pre-COVID), and I'm very glad it was just one night and not a whole week. As others have stated, the resort shares its amenities with a (cheaper) hotel across the street, which crowds amenities and brings a bit of a different clientele. Overall, service was sorely lacking and the whole place felt cheap and absolutely not worthy of the price tag. Please do yourself a favor and spend the extra money/points and go to the Ritz! For those who are looking for a good pool experience in particular - stay away. Pool is extremely uncomfortable on feet (bottom is not sanded correctly - other reviews were not exaggerating!), swim-up bar stools are equally uncomfortable and often full, and the pool had a lot of dirt and debris (including a floating trash bag - how pleasant). I gave 3 stars because the beach is beautiful and the location is great, the grounds themselves are nice and tropical, and our dinner at Beach House was fantastic, but overall it was just not the experience we were looking for. Our room was upgraded to a one-bedroom suite as Titanium, which we appreciated (extra full bath was very nice), but overall the renovation felt cheaply done. Partial ocean view was obstructed by a giant tent used for events, where we got to sit on our balcony and watch businesspeople having meals. (Keep an eye out for these business events - lobby was also packed with people, and the next day, they took over the whole pool area with a very loud event.) Staff was not overly helpful - when we first arrived (4pm at check-in), I asked for a pool chair cover and was told they were about to start picking them up (?). The ones they did have were stained and not very comfortable, and in the mornings, they power wash the whole pool deck and the chair cushions become wet - not ideal. The pool area is also just too small and felt crowded overall - not enough space to spread out and servers were very hard to come by (very much a do-it-yourself vibe here). Hot tubs were always packed with people too. While I would return for a drink or meal, I cannot say I'd ever stay here again - for the relatively small price difference, the Ritz down the road was a supremely better experience. If you're looking for any level of luxury - go there!

Loved this hotel Hotel is beautiful and staff is so accommodating. The beach is beautiful. We had a pool and ocean view room. Could not have been better. The hotel has activities that you can participate in. The food was excellent. Location was good.

Short Visit! We came here on a conference and unfortunately had to leave early due to Trump. Our room was spacious but the view was a disappointment looking over a car park. I would not stay here again as there are better hotels on the Island. With all the money my partners firm paid you should at least give all participants a sea view room.
