NO Waterslide! Description of hotel on Trip Advisor says it has a waterslide. But it does NOT. (The hotel's web site does not claim to have a waterslide.) Clean and comfortable. Pool is small in a stuffy room but fine for kids to play in for an hour. Sheetz gas station/convenience store across the street has great selection of fast food - burgers, chicken, pizza - and is open late night. Friendly staff. Quiet area.

Terrible customer service Well early this morning I was awoken from an extremely deep sleep by a housekeeping lady trying to get into my room. After which i was unable fall back asleep. I had secured the security latch and put the do not disturb sign onto the door lever so no one would wake me up in the morning. I called down to the front desk and informed the receptionist about what happened. I asked for a discount because of this extremely large inconvenience. She told me the general manager Luka Kovich would contact me at 3pm when his shift started. I waited until 4:30pm and contacted Luka myself. He was not very polite during our conversation I found him condescending and extremely argumentative. Eventually he offered me a 20 dollar discount. I told him that wasn't good enough. After some more animated back and forth I simply said I'm not trying to argue about this I told him thank you and I ended the call. Also the bathroom sink was not draining when I initially arrived (which I fixed myself) and the plumbing fixtures in the shower and jacuzzi tub are extremely loose. The shower basin had a dirt grey hue as well; like it was not cleaned properly.

Unacceptable Response The hotel was very nice when we arrived and all the amenities are as described. We arrived on Friday night and went to Hersheypark the following morning. When we arrived back at the hotel later that evening we entered our room to a disgusting odor of cigarette smoke. We called the night manager who came up right away. He agreed the room smelled horrible and sprayed some air freshener that did very little. He apologized but didn’t have any other room because they were full. He suggested putting the a/c on and opening the window. It was 38 degrees outside and we proceeded to sleep in the room that smelled and freezing. After thinking about it we probably we should have gone out and slept in car. To make the story short the manager the next day offered a $30 refund and that was it. Calls to corporate offices did no better and didn’t even return phone calls. They even said it may have been one of our grown children that were smoking in the room. We are in our 70’s so they’re not children. I would think they would be more concerned that someone entered a room without permission and did this. All we asked was for a refund for the one night and they did nothing. If you decide to stay here just be cautious!!

Just ok We booked this hotel online while driving to the auto train in Lorton, Virginia. The outside looked nice and the parking lot was well laid out. The location was slightly away from things but there was a gas station and an amazing Italian restaurant, Fabio’s, across the street. Check in was ok once they found our Choice Hotels number. We got a room on the ground floor across from the pool. Since we arrived after 7, we went directly to dinner at Fabio’s and didn’t even check out the pool. The room had a kitchenette which was nice since I had leftovers to store in the fridge. The tv was small and reception was poor until hubby giggled things around. Pillows on the beds were the size of throw cushions. The furniture, baseboards, bathroom mirror, etc were all chipped and past their prime. We were able to regulate the heat as needed. Breakfast was minimal: pancakes that came out of a machine like a conveyor belt, egg muffins, yogurt, coffee and juice. No toast or muffins, no cereal, no peanut butter or cream cheese.

Everything the reviews say is true! Check in employee was rude, window in room didn’t close all the way, and clogged toilet was still clogged when we checked out 4 hours after we reported it. Nice pool and slide but had to think twice about using it as floor and sides looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in years. No wipes for gym equipment and universal weight machine missing a pin. Pancakes were ok, breakfast sandwiches underwhelming. Everything needs updating and the price lowered.
