Opportunities for improvement Hotel is in a good location and the room was decent and clean but could use some maintenance. Small issues not worth mentioning. My issues are more towards the breakfast, billing and lack of follow up. Breakfast here is limited, expensive, and bad. Seems hard to mess up things like eggs, bacon and pancakes but they did. As a Diamond member I am to get points or a $10 meal credit. I opt for the credit by default and they failed to apply the credit. I reached out to the hotel twice and was assured they would correct. They did not. The complaints are somewhat petty, but the overall sense I felt staying here was less than a normal HGI hotel experience.

Good visit turn Negative The hotel would have gotten at least a 4 star rating if it wasn’t for $14 pantry charge that should have been credited to my F&B credit instead of my credit card. It’s bad enough that Hilton only allocates $10/person but then to have the front desk agent dispute the eligibility is ridiculous. We bought two beers from the hotel pantry that were deemed ineligible for the credit. Why? Last time I checked, the food and beverage credit is good in the hotel. If you are going to limit the options where it is available then you need to be upfront and specify it. No where on the app does it list any exclusions. Oh, and it gets even better… I am a Diamond member and booked my reservation via the Hilton app but was told that no where on the reservation did it list my status or my MyBenefits preference of the F&B credit. How is that even possible possible? It wasn’t all bad, but this issue really upset for the principle of the matter. The room itself was fine and comfortable. No other issues. Just wish this visit hadn’t ended like it did. It should not have.

Not the best Too many mistakes were made during our stay. We paid extra for snacks in the room and had to remind them every time to bring them to us. They left my husband at the airport for over an hour because they forgot him. We are diamond so we had food credit but we were charged for our breakfast. I have called with a promise that the manager would get back to us but that hasn’t happened. There was no recognition for being diamond…no bottles of water or anything when we checked in, no thank you for being diamond. The front desk people were very nice, except for the ones who checked us in. It’s a very good location and does offer airport shuttle which is nice. The hotel has a good location.

Great staff/Skimpflation Strikes PRO: Awesome location & free shuttle for a quick overnight between flights from DFW. PRO: Helpful staff. When I asked for a restaurant that I could walk to, Night Desk Clerk suggested the on-site restaurant that didn’t look open. Turns out, it was right at closing time, but the chef & bartender where happy to whip up our dinner and a couple of cocktails. CON: have always LOVED the HGI Flatbreads. This was NOT a flatbread, it was closer to a personal pan pizza (for $15.) CON: Only $10 F&B Diamond credit. PRO: the breakfast buffet was only $7.95. (Rarely does the new HHonors credit actually cover anything on the menu.) CON: while the menu said “hot foods” the was only 1 hot food (oatmeal.). HGI used to include cooked to order omelets, eggs, bacon & potatoes on the breakfast buffet. Overall - good location near DFW but don’t expect the HGI amenities that you may have come to expect.

I would stay again. This hotel is perfect for a short business stay. The staff is amazing and helped in any way they could. The location is walking distance to a great sports grill/bar and also a steak house which was very nice. There is a free shuttle service available to and from the airport. There is a sit-down breakfast available, but it is not complimentary. I wish they had a small selection that was complimentary. I will plan to stay again when traveling to Grapevine.
