Not my favorite inn We stayed in the Hirace Greeley room, which did not come with a hair dryer, tissues or washcloths. The bed was rickety. It moved when we got in and out. At 130 pounds, I could move the headboard back and forth without much effort. We had to ask for a second key to the room. We have stayed in bed and breakfasts and inns all across the U.S. sadly, this one was my least favorite. The Currier is well located. The foyer is gorgeous, but our room didn't look like the online photo. There was no canopy on the bed.

Disappointing stay I would love to recommend the Currier Inn, but had a disappointing 3 day stay...the room I had was less than clean. The ceiling exhaust filter right above the bed was so dirty you could see dust and grime nearly dripping down. When I dropped something on the floor, I discovered a collection of other dropped items under the bed from previous guests. There were food items left in the refrigerator/freezer from previous guests as well. And the comforter on the bed had holes bigger than a dinner plate. In the 3 day stay, I never saw anyone to ask about getting the room cleaned or to bring facial tissue or extra pillows. Thought I was upgrading from a standard hotel for this trip. Guess I was wrong.

Disappointing My room and the facility itself were very nice. However, the "amenities" were extremely disappointing. I was told that the kitchen was being renovated and so breakfast items would be put out in the morning for guests to serve themselves. That consisted of 2 "clamshell" containers of muffins and 2 of donut holes, likely from a local grocery store, and a bunch of bananas. Next to these was a handwritten note that said "for guests" and a stack of paper bowls, even though none of the breakfast options required a bowl. Not even any napkins provided. When you advertise as a Bed & Breakfast and the reminder email that is sent 4 days before my stay discusses the breakfast schedule, asks about dietary restrictions, etc, it shows a total lack of planning or concern on your part. How about a couple of other fruit choices and a selection of pastries from a local bakery? Or if that's too much trouble, make an adjustment in the rate to compensate for not providing breakfast. There was also a coffee pot in my room but no cups or coffee provided. It troubles me to post a negative review for a local business, especially given how difficult things have been this past year, but I also don't want other guests to be disappointed as I was.

Outstanding stay!!! I stayed here three nights and had a wonderful stay! Stephanie and Derek are very welcoming hosts and owners. Stephanie is also a fantastic cook! The breakfast was top quality restaurant food!! The room was meticulous, quite and the Inn is historic! I highly recommend staying here if visiting the area. Close to great eateries too. Easy to get to and plenty of off street parking. So glad I saw their high rating on Trip Advisor.... great place!!
