Run down Hotel This hotel is run down. Though the water park may appeal to families, the overall vibe is neglected. My room was smelly and had a few tiny little fruit flies, the AC very noisy, furniture/lights dusty, & the carpet is very dirty in common areas. I appreciate the frig & microwave in the room.

Would Stay Elsewhere I took my son for a little spring break getaway. I had coworkers who have stayed here with younger children and had good experiences, however this was several years ago. I will say the smaller pool/waterpark was perfect size for my 6 year old and he loved being able to do everything himself. However, the pool was not clean. The water was murky with a greenish hint. There was algae growing at the edge of the pool along with large collections of hair in the grates. Neither of which were cleaned while we were there. Our room was ok. They had been working on the water pipes during our stay, so we had iffy hot water for the 2 days we were there. I wasn't told about the work until check out and said we had no hot water at all on the second day. They did discount my 2nd day. The breakfast was old, dried out. We went out for breakfast the 2nd morning (had an amazing breakfast at The Pancake Place).

GROSS…terrible stay ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! went the other night with my boyfriend for the night and the room was by far the most disgusting hotel room I have ever been in. I travel quite a lot, so that says something. The bathroom tub had pubic hairs and a leftover used bar of soap. The toilet had poop stains on the front. The bed comforter had what seemed to be blood stains. The air vent was absolutely gross and tons of debris on it. The bathroom ceiling vent was CAKED in dust. Also, the doors and walls were scraped up and the door to the room….you had to basically get it to shut. The charger station thing didn’t work. Lastly, the breakfast eggs were gross. I’ve never seen scrambled eggs cooked that way and taste that way. It was like eating rubber. All in all….completely disappointed. I did end up confronting the front desk manager and he was sympathetic….but still. It was absolutely gross. I don’t usually get allergies or even really sick ever but a few times a year and I will say….that waking up in the morning…my throat was on fire! Very itchy and bothersome….and I reckon it is from the disgustingness of the room. We are thinking of writing to the corporation because it was that disgusting. FYI, the reservation was under my boyfriend’s name. I’m speaking for the both of us.

Clean, organized standard hotel with fun pool and slides! Great experience! The pool and slides were a lot of fun for my tweens. Most of the water stuff is for younger children though. Everything in the hotel was clean and organized. Breakfast was pretty standard and included some basic hot items. I appreciated how someone was always on top of filling everything up and keep the large dining area clean. The biggest drawback is the location. There's not much around the hotel so you need a car if you want to go out for food.

Horrible, dirty, ended up with food poisoning and at the doctor; trip cut short because of the food poisoning I should have gone with my first reaction walking in the door to check in at the front desk and left. However, I prepaid online with no cancellation available. I made the reservation based on reviews on the website. Those reviews are so off! The hotel was dirty. We were tired and I went ahead and got the keys to the room. That was a mistake. The room was not top notch in fact it was not even ok. Doors were scraped up, Things were old and worn, and as I looked in the corners there was dust and dirt. The Kleenex box cover has dirt and dust. We were tired and I checked the sheets and went to sleep. Our next mistake was eating breakfast there. It was poorly put together and not on time. My dad and I had some of the few items available. Food was warm, not hot. Toaster didn’t work very well. Hot water in airpot was luke warm and probably left from the day before. I knew what a mistake we’d made eating this good when I threw away the trash and saw the filth all around. Food was caked on the trash can front. There was a general uncleanliness of the entire area. My dad got sick after our stay. We had to end our vacation early because my dad got sick and he ended up at the doctor. Doctor confirmed food poisoning. I’m looking for the hotel’s information to make a complaint and will be contacting the local Health Department. For now, beware! This is not a place you want to stay.
