Amazing We loved this place, so said to see it close. This place is right on the lake so you can sit on the patio and just relax. They have several restaurants a short walk from the lobby and with such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere its easy to be distracted by the beauty.

Lovely Truly a gem in the middle of beautiful Wisconsin. Tool bad it is for sale. It sits on an awesome lake and has lots of space. The rooms are a bit dated, but the restaurant and other areas are great. It is quiet and clean.

SO SAD -- OUR LAST ANNIVERSARY HERE! This Property has a lot of Nostalgia.. we have been coming to the are since the early 80's. It was evident that they were kinda letting it go this last year. Last year we were promised they were doing a FULL revamp. SOOOO sad to hear the owners have let his Beauty fall away. I hope the next Developers/Mgt Group/Franchisee do not demolish this place and make it a Phoenix to it's original Glory. It's on the market #WYNDAHM... take a look!

Just a shame It's a shame the Heidel has closed. It closed 2 years to the day after it was the venue for my daughter's wedding. We had close to 175 people attend. No one was dissatisfied. Many had never been to Green Lake and a bunch of them have since come back to vacation. It's going to affect a lot of local businesses without hosting the functions anymore. A lot of the daily personnel are in limbo. Yes, maybe it was too large for general needs but having nothing in its place or a bunch of ugly condos on the lake isn't a great alternative. Oh, well, I suppose the knowledge that holiday weekends won't be overcrowding the town and the lake without those accommodations right there should be something for property owners to cheer about, but, I can't help but feel that something open to the public must take its place for a lot of people's sakes. Yeah, it's just a dirty shame.

Nice Weekend We had a great weekend and excellent service here. We were sad to see it was closing as we were going to go back this summer with the kiddo! Nice people and professional and went out of the way to be sure we had a room and it was amazing.
