Amazing It is always amazing and the staff are always helpful. We always stay there when we fly in because it’s like home. Cost is a little more bit nice rooms and other benefits. Awesome coffee every morning and the views are spectacular. The place to stay

Anniversary trip Had a delightful anniversary stay. Room accommodations were excellent. Food at the Print Bistro was delicious and very reasonably priced. Definitely recommend the Proximity. BTW, the tea at Proximity’s sister hotel, the O’Henry, was terrific.

Exceptional Stay My husband and I stayed here before and after a business trip and the experience was exceptional. We were able to relax and unwind in a well designed, serene setting. I learned about this hotel through interior designers who praised the Proximity, and I can see why. A quiet and cozy lower lobby area with floor to ceiling windows looking out onto greenery and softly lit trees. Very peaceful, with comfy sofas and chairs, and candles lit throughout. The ambiance lends itself to true relaxation. The guest rooms were large and very comfortable, again with large windows and high ceilings, and superior beds. Loved the bathroom with 2 sinks and soaking tub. The service was excellent from beginning to end, including the wonderful Bistro attached to the hotel. We will be back.

The Proximliry is in decline. Skip it. The Proximity is in noticeable physical decline. There was a lot of chipping and deterioration of the furniture in my room. And more shockingly, the curtain was off the railing and had a huge stain on it. And to add insult to injury, I received a noise complaint for laughing singularly in my room. I highly suspect that the complaint had racial overtones. Needless to say, but I am done with this hotel.

I would give 10 stars if I could. What a great hotel! First of all, it looks wonderful - the decor is the very opposite of cookie-cutter, and extremely comfortable. And so clean! Housekeeping does a great job - I love that they even clean the tv remote. All of the staff with whom I interacted were lovely - very personable and friendly. The restaurant (Print Works Bistro) holds a special place in my heart because they were so very kind and accommodating about my rare (and annoying) food allergy. During a 3-day stay, I had an opportunity to try all of their menus (breakfast, brunch, dinner and dessert), and everything I tried was delicious. In particular, I can recommend the shrimp and grits - they prepare an unusual, streamlined version that is elegant and flavorful. The strawberry crème brûlée was another favorite dish. Honestly, everything I tried was so good. I’m already happily planning my next visit.
