Hyatt Regency Greenville

Holiday Getaway The overall experience was great. We were on the 7th floor so the city view was nice. I loved the different Christmas tree decorations. The customer service was great and everyone was so helpful. I would recommend my friends on their next getaway to the Hyatt.

Felt look down on, they were rude, they hated we was in their hotel My family was displaced because of Hurricane Helene, the only hotel available to us was the Hyatt. As far as the hotel it is a nice place. As for everything else, it was horrible. There was only one staff member I could say who was nice to us and he was the manager. The rest of the staff were rude, raciest, and very unhelpful. The housekeeping and maintenance man like to break in to your room even with the do not disturb sign up ( walked in while I was in bed and my husband was getting in shower). Then the staff were rude to us. They acted as if they were better than us and as if they did not like our race or what race we were with. Also multiple times would get ignored, they would literally not even look up at us when we would be talking to them. I remember on one occasion I was smoking a cigarette inside of my car out on the street, I get out and put my cigarette in the disposal for cigarettes near the front entrance. Only to have the front desk lady staring at me with her nose in the air. Then I get to my room and management calls to say that someone complained that I smelt like cigarettes. First off the front desk was the only one I passed coming up, second I smoked in my car, third they shouldn’t have a cigarette disposal at the front door if someone will get in trouble when they use it and fourth who are they to say anything about how I smell. The staff made it so obvious they did not want us there everyday. It wasn’t our fault we had to stay there, but they made a time that was already so hard into such a even harder time for my family and I. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all.

Housekeeping manager poor communixatir Left item and housekeeping NEVER called back to say they did or did not find it left in the room. After two days emailed front desk manager and STILL no response: i stayed here as my go to hotel for Greenville for years… VERY disappointed with customer service!
