Hidden Gem The property was beautiful and the grounds are extremely well maintained. You do not need to leave the property for anything. The food options are great, casual restaurants with delicious local food and a fine dining option. They have tennis courts and pickleball courts!

A missed opportunity We returned with family to copa Marina after several years. Unfortunately, we were disappointed in general. Firstly, we had been under the impression they the rooms were renovated and even getting an ocean front room, we got the same room we had in 2016 (I competed the pics). Secondly, the room we had was dirty and poorly cleaned. There were hairs everywhere and the floor was extremely dusty and full of sand from prior guests. Thirdly, the service was on occasions great but mostly average to non existent. Even though I tend to tip heavily upfront (this always works in other countries like Mexico and DR) servers were slow to come around to offer more refreshment. Finally, the food was decent but way overpriced. Dishes averaged 25 dollars and were not even in the fancy restaurant. Copa marina will always be able to offer stunning beach views, Gilligans Island, and water sports but if they don’t get ahead they’ll fall into that overpriced hotel that people avoid and get a nearby airbnb instead. Hope they get it together again.

Nice place The hotel is pretty I would liked my air conditioner didn’t give us problem but overall we had a good family trip. The customer service needs some work so that the stay can be much better. We had 2 rooms and it was nice in the morning the buffet was amazing and we found a man name Luis that went beyond to make us feel welcome

Great Copa Lifestyle The Copa Experience was amazing. Great environment to relax, enjoy and know new friends. Super friendly staff, always taking care of our needs. Everyone, starting with the security guard, the reception staff, waiters and waitresses. We had a great time at the pool, bar and restaurant. Meals were just delicious. The only downside was the bed. Mattress was hard and pillows too high for my preference. Also, on our checkout day, we got a housekeeping personnel knocking at the door at 8:30 am, although the check-out was at noon. But overall, a great experience that we would like to repeat again.

Great for groups Our work events over a few days at Copamarina were great. The staff was so accommodating especially the bartenders, wait staff and chefs. There is a pier which scuba tours leave from on the beach. It is on the less traveler part of the island for sure. My only negatives are my electric had an issue with bathroom lights for 2 days and checkin was slow but to be fair we had 7 people come at once.
