Disgusting company BEWARE "LIQUID LIFE" My family and I rented 1705 Seawind Condo. Do NOT STAY at this property if your condo is rented to you by a vacation rental company called LIQUID LIFE. If you would like to stay at this property I highly suggest you use a private owner. We booked through VRBO and it was a disaster from the start. The condo was not ready when we checked in, a closet door was hanging off the closet, there was a broken framed glass picture smashed and stuffed behind a dresser in our children's room, there was a cord running across the other bedroom which was a huge tripping hazard. The floor was so filthy you could see chunks off stuff lying about it had looked like no one had even attempted to vacuum. There was a vent hanging out of the wall, black stains on the drapes and shower curtains. Two broken pieces of furniture in the living room including a coffee table that fell apart and that a Maintenace man had to remove. The shower handle was broken in the master bedrooms, lights that didn't work and all the tv's disconnected from walls to lead us to believe they were all broken. We were booked for 6 days and 6 people, they left us two partially used toilet paper rolls for my entire family for the remainer of the vacation. They left no trash bags and there was not on thing I could use to clean up after my children, not as much as a salt and pepper in the kitchen and the ice maker didn't work. Through text, email, a phone call & message left with a Maintenace man I requested to speak to a manager multiple times on Friday because at this point everything was falling apart. They texted me and told me no one could speak to me until Monday and that there was no one around that could handle my complaint on the weekend. That's a lie and completely unacceptable when you run a vacation rental where weekends are a must. On Monday afternoon I finally wrote a review to the Better Business Bureau, and shortly after someone finally called me about 4pm and by that time I was checking out in the morning. She told me on the phone that she could not AUTHORIZE the refund that I was requesting and that she would "expedite" my complaint and upper management would call me. To this day I still have not received a phone call or any refund. I have never complained about one of my vrbo's and absolutely never filed a complaint with the BBB. IF YOU WANT TO STAY HERE I ENCOURAGE YOU TO READ REVIEWS from OTHERS ON THE BBB OF ALABAMA FOR LIQUID LIFE. YOU WILL REGRET BOOKING ANYTHING WITH THEM. It's a shame because SeaWind its self was a great building and great location. Unfortunately this company LIQUID LIFE is making them look bad. Be aware that LIQUID LIFE also has other properties in the area and I would never recommend using them.

Seawind Condo #606 Very disappointed!!! Unit 606 - This unit was falsely advertised. The picture of the front bedroom was misleading and too tiny for anyone to stay. The swimming pools are much smaller than pictured. The 20-floor property has only two elevators WITH ONE ELEVATOR INOPERABLE 90% of the time, leaving only one in use. Image the chaos! At one time the trash chute was full, the only option was to leave the trash on the ground in front of the chute (disgusting). The Seawind @ Gulf Shores 1 star!!! If you like walking stairs, with your arms full, and are not interested in the pool or clean grounds, then you should consider the Seawind.

Great place, but the elevators will keep me from going back… The condos at Seawind are great (at least ours was anyway… I know each unit is independently owned & furnished). We stayed on the 5th floor which I thought had a perfect view of the beach. Our condo was very clean, well maintained and nicely decorated. We did have to get some extra toilet paper, trash bags, toilet paper, laundry pods & hand soap for our 5 day stay at the store, as what they provide to guests is minimal. But if you’ve ever stayed in a beach condo that is pretty common. We really had no complaints at all about the condo itself but I don’t think we will ever stay at Seawind simply because of the elevator situation. There are only 2 elevators for the entire building, and I’m not sure if 1 even worked the whole time we were there. It was hard finding an elevator to get us up to our room with all of our stuff when we first arrived, and it was nearly impossible when we left. We literally waited 30 minutes for an elevator that could fit our party of 4 and all of our luggage. Trying to haul all our stuff to the beach each day was no different. We ended up just taking the stairs each day going down and then waiting 10 minutes or so to be picked up from the ground level floor each day. This may seem like not a big deal to some people but from reading the other reviews I'm not the only one who sees this as a problem. I will also say that the pool area is pretty run down, but we came to Gulf Shores for the beach anyway.

Limited parking, 2 elevators for 20 floors, rental agency non responsive on complaints Penthouse 05. Where to start? Limited parking, only 2 vehicles allowed for a condo that sleeps 8. Covered parking extremely narrow 2 person parking. They have signs stating Truck/SUV need to park outside, to park in lines and let your passengers out before parking. Half the covered spots were taken because a person in trucks/SUV would be over the lines or right on the line preventing a second vehicle from parking. Very outdated! Building opened in 2006, ALL the TV's manufacturing date were also 2006, tv in the bedroom was unusable, huge burn in spot, the appliances were probably from 2006 as well. The floor appeared clean, however, when you walk in socks or barefoot, your feet turn black!!! DISGUSTING! Baseboards look like they haven't been cleaned in months. Front bedrooms have no curtains, due to the security lights it was like sleeping in the daylight. The building only has 2 elevators to service 152 condos covering 20 floors. For 3 days, 1 elevator was down for routine maintenance. The entire building lost water for half the day twice. Building is Smoke free, but the 2 condos surrounding us smoked not just cogs, but weed every day. Lot of people smoking on the "private beach" as well. Complained to rental offices, nothing was done. Speaking of the "Private Beach"...The beach (and pool) was Not private at all. Because the public could easily access we were told you had to wear a wristband when on the beach or in the pool. There was no point in wearing them when nobody checked or monitored the access. We even stumbled upon a couple having sex on the beach one night while looking for crabs. Normally wouldn't have cared less, but we had young children present. With a mix of a very outdate condo, lack of adequate elevators, no enforcement of no smoking or who has beach/pool access, limited parking, narrow parking, I could not in any way recommend Seawind Condos!

Elevator nightmare The condos themselves are great. It is in a great location. The indoor/outdoor pool is laughably small. We traveled with children & they were so disappointed in the pool. However, the true nightmare is the elevator. There are 2 elevators for 19+ floors of condos. It became a joke amongst the family. You are going to be waiting FOREVER, especially if you’re leaving the beach at an average time, or trying to leave the condo for dinner when others are. This is not a big deal if you’re staying on one of the lower levels- just take the stairs. But we were on the 16th floor with 4 children, and it was a nightmare any time we needed to get anywhere.
