Good stopping place to miss rush hour traffic Helpful staff at front desk, free parking, fridge in room, comfy high beds, clean rooms, free breakfast, sturdy carts for your luggage, close to I-70 off of I-81 North, near Target and other stores you know, about an hour west of Baltimore. This worked out well for us- drove an hour that night, missed the morning rush hour in Baltimore, and were on our way at 9.

Loved my stay, would stay again. Clean, Welcoming, great location This has to be a top hotel experience I've ever had. I was meeting up with an online community of friends and we were visiting Civil war related sites; Harpers Ferry (1 hr drive), Sharpsburg/antietam battle sites (15 minutes drive roughly). The hotel is very conveniently located next to a plaza mall with several stores that may attract you, including smokers, Arcade enjoyers (a massive arcade that i didn't have the pleasure of returning to), eccentrics with interests in stores like Spencer's/Hot topic; there's plenty of souvenir items that can be found. There's two dine-in restaurants that i noticed (BJ's & Parmadinos (sp?) that are not too fancy and reasonably priced in today's economy. Parmadinos even had karaoke going on as we walked past it. I booked a two queen bed studio with kitchenette which offered ample space and comfort to my party of ~12 people. Though a small incident with us breaking a chair did take place, the front desk staff was very helpful is remedying the situation. Of special note i had the most pleasant experiences with the PM front desk agent NICOLE and the O/N front desk agent DAWN, also the AM front desk agent, which i did not get the name of but is of indian heritage (i mention that only so she can be identified by mgmt and given recognition for her service as well). All three are professional, and caring with respect to their guests. I was able to get new keys, new and additional chairs, and information fast and easy and they always start and ended each interaction with a smile. Having worked in hospitality myself, their professionalism is something that is akin to service we required of FD agents in NYC Manhattan hotels. I would stay here again without a doubt. The room was superbly clean, smelled great, HVAC works. The breakfast was fine, personally i would have loved to have had bacon available but alas there was none. The lighting in the room could have been a little stronger after the sun sets but it didn't affect our overall impression. I was able to receive an amazon package delivered to the hotel by just adding my room number; no issues there. Bottom line; great & clean hotel, great staffing, great location in relation to dine-in, take-out, and Door Dash delivery. The pricing was not bad either, i booked 4 months ahead and only paid 150$ a night for a 2 night stay. Well worth it, I'm glad i stayed here.

Helpful staff, convenient location This hotel worked out great for our team and we appreciated how helpful the staff was making sure breakfast was available and offering flexibility with check out around our tournament schedule. Rooms are what I would expect for the affordable price but were fine for our needs. We did have some issues with air quality and odors but the staff did what they could to address. The pool and lounge facilities were clean and convenient for our stay.

Poor Customer Service After four or five stays, each having minor problems (such as noise from the train, ptac noise, poor location of the room, terrible strong chemical/perfume smell in the hallway) that I tried to put aside, my last stay and poor attitude from the front desk was enough for me to never stay again. Housekeeping threw out the box for my new coffee maker, this was no where near the trash can. The night audit charged my stay in full after two days, I was staying for four-five nights. I brought it to the attention of the AM shift at check out and she said first that it is just the way the audit does it, I said no that is incorrect, you charged me to soon ! Then I had a box thrown out that I needed she said “what makes you think it was housekeeping?” Excuse me!! Was someone else in my room?! No! So yes housekeeping threw out what I needed to safely transport this back home. Her dismissal of the matter and attitude was horrible. The GM did her best to make the situation better but enough was enough. I will not stay again and no longer recommend this location.

Not great for the money I paid The front desk staff is the best part of this experience. They are extremely helpful and nice. The room, however, is not so nice at all. Everything is sticky, even the carpet. Our child's white socks were brown after only 15 minutes of being without shoes in the room. I paid $616 for a room that is dirty, sticky, odd smelling, and has terrible drywall patches all over the bottom of the walls. My wife is also getting bit by some type of bug all over her legs. Honestly, at the very least a partial refund would be the only thing to make this stay better.
