Centrally Located Hotel is located within walking distance to many places... restaurants, Citadel, Public Gardens, Pier 21 and the waterfront. The hotel is dated, the carpets are buckling, curtains falling off rods (they need to be re-hooked) bathroom fan is loud, mold on the showerhead. Lobby is welcoming. Roof-top patio is under construction (This should be posted on website) Rooftop looks like a great spot to chill. Hot Tub, Sauna and gym area on top floor. Breakfast included. Paid parking onsite ($25 daily) Large rooms; sink, mini-fridge, microwave. Check in was easy. Staff helpful. Hotel is in need of TLC.

A week in Halifax This is an excellent hotel with suites. My husband and I were in Halifax for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.They really stress cleanliness at this hotel. The elevators and lobby are constantly cleaned. The junior queen suite was in great shape. The breakfast buffet which is included in your stay offered a wide variety of choices. There are lots of parking spaces available if you have a vehicle for an additional daily cost. Cutlery and dishes are available in the suite by a simple request made to the front desk. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent service Since November, I've enjoyed three stays. One was for the entire month of February 2024. The other two were for one-night stays in June and July 2024. On Tuesday of this week, I went to the hotel to inquire about arranging accommodation for two weeks in August. Within minutes, Alex Nguyen came out to chat with me. Happily for both of us, I had dealt with Alex over the phone when making arrangements for February. Once again, Alex provided exemplary customer service. She listened to my needs, asked relevant questions, and offered to speak with Sales before committing to a rate. Alex promised to confirm the rate via email which I received in about 30 minutes. I secured my reservation immediately. Alex's efficiency, expertise, and positive spirit made the entire experience a genuine pleasure. She's definitely an excellent ambassador for your hotel and deserves commendation for her high standards. Amber at the front desk is kind to show the room to me also. This is my must place to come in Halifax.

Great downtown accommodation. Great downtown location with a beautiful view of the city and great location for walking and shopping downtown Halifax. Canvas restaurant is classy and convent, the hot breakfast delicious and having a coffee bar available 24 hours a day is great. A very nice Halifax experience

Excellent choice for Halifax Excellent stay on Cambridge Suites. Across the street from the Citadel. Staff were helpful and friendly. We were upgraded to a larger room! Breakfast was very good and included 3 types of muffins, yogurt, eggs, breakfast potatoes, hummus/veggies, fruit salad, bagels, oatmeal, etc. On a Saturday night we could hear loud music from across the street until close to 1am, but this is not the hotel’s fault. Would stay here again if in the area.
