Highly recommend staying here Beautiful rooms, very clean. Beds were super comfy and pillows. Cleaning staff went above and beyond. The arms restaurant downstairs service is excellent and food is better! Highly recommend staying here and is close to all entertainment and other fantastic restaurants.

Don't stay here unless u want to be blamed and charged for things u didn't do. This hotel cares only about money Great downstairs staff...except for Chris the concierge who is a liar and a coward...do not trust him, but the management of this hotel is so bad that 4 of them just left voluntarily....they don't care about the people only the almighty dollar and they will screw u out of your money any way they can. They will very likely steal your deposit as they did to us, 2 seniors in our 50s that stayed there for 8 months and treated every1 with respect but upon our departure they made false claims against us and kept our $300 deposit and we are both in our 50s on disability and a fixed income but they still ripped us off so stay in Halifax as it's a great city with some great hotels downtown, just know that the Lord Nelson hotel isn't one of them. Do yourself a favor and never stay there

Outstanding This is the best hotel I stayed in Halifax ! everything was absolutely perfect ! Bed are so comfortable and room are beautiful !! The location is perfect and close to lots of stores and waterfront is just few minutes away ... easy to walk

A Fantastic Hotel Outstanding room (we booked a Park Suite), excellent staff - friendly and professional, a very pleasant pub within the hotel, and great parking...this wasn't out first stay and it definitely won't be our last. The Lord Nelson is our "go-to" accommodation every time we're in the city.

Exactly what we expected We have stayed here a few times before and chose this hotel over others in Halifax because it is beautiful and located conveniently close to the downtown core. We got exactly what we have come to expect at every stay! An excellent experience!
