Hideous My husband and I had all anticipations on staying here a week... yeah, that just wasn't happening. Setting aside the fact that the front desk employee was far more interested in her phone conversation vs. Checking us in, I wish that was my worse complaint.. The room.... it appeared it had been cleaned, there were folded towels and washcloths, I wouldn't exactly say they were clean. Perhaps another round in the washer would have helped we did see Few roaches, ""I'm NOT one for bugs"" yet, that still isn't my worse complaint. Checking in, the woman at the desk was far more concerned with her personal phone call than checking us in.minor annoyance...still, get to the room, its not exactly clean to my standards, but far from dirty. Extremly outdated, stained chairs, and a musty smell.. still, ive seen worse... No alarm clock, and the front desk said they could not give us wake up call as that we against their policy. Oh, and they didn't supply a local phone book to possibly call someone to wake you up. Still, a minor annoyance. We went to sleep, when we woke, I was on one side of the bed, my husband on the other making the bed for the day, when we lifted the bottom of the mattress to tuck the sheets in when.."here is where the MAJOR issue starts" when we found 2, YES 2, bottles of empty vodka and a hypodermic needle without a cap and dried blood. .clearly not from a diabetic. The vodka bottles were pint bottles, so small.. these items were between the mattress and boxspring. How housekeeping failed to see this is beyond me! Called the front, I can't begin to express how unprofessionally this was handled. The office sent ""maintenance"" to the room. The maintenance man said, "why did you put ur empty liquor bottles and needle there? Humored by the stupidity I replied, "" cause I thought it was a great idea, REALLY???!!!! He removed the items after we explained the situation,we decided to check out and requested a refund for the days we would not be staying. "" if ur promised a refund, stay on them, or its not happening" after several arguments with the owner, I received my refund, and a parting gift, informed we would be placed on the do not rent list because the owner just couldn't believe those items were left there by a previous renter and overlooked by their fabulous housekeeping. Mind you, at the time, most the hotels were full, so finding another hotel with openings was rather difficult. Of course we put those items between the mattress and box spring to get the money we already paid them back so we could struggle and finally find a hotel with an opening which cost an additional 70.00 a night. Makes perfect sense to me!

Decent place for the money The hotel clerk was very pleasant and friendly. It is a 2 star hotel which means it will not be the Hilton Gardens but a 2 star hotel that was clean and welcoming. I will stay at this hotel again because you can't beat the price and it is a decent place to stay.

DO NOT STAY HERE I stayed here august 16, 2015as a near last resort because rooms near the beach were booked. Once checked in, I went to the room and set my things down. It was late (near 1am) When i flipped the light on i spotted a roach. I killed it and then saw another and another, etc. Once i saw three i proceeded back down to the lobby to ask for a refund and to move to another hotel. I was refused a refund and was told i would need to speak with the manager in the morning at 7am. It is now 8;52 and the manager is still not in. Front desk personnel is rude and not interested in rectifying the issue. DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU LIVE IN THE CONDITIONS!!! As of today (3 days later, I had not received a refund. My mom has tried to help me rectify this but they refuse to discuss with her. I will be reporting to my credit card as a dispute and let them handle it.
