Appearance Although the front check in was detoured to the side entrance due to construction, the check in process was quick and accommodating. The property & rooms were very clean!

They know exactly what the hospitality business means! It's always wonderful to stay at La Quinta Inn & Suites Hayward. They have the best management and services. Their front desk staff is very friendly and professional, especially Mohammad and Rehan. These two guys are always excellent at their jobs! This place has wonderful housekeeping service, and the breakfast lady, Maria, is a showstopper! I was quite surprised by the hospitality of GM Mohammad. Since my wife and I were traveling back to LA, he made sure we had all the snacks we needed in our car and even offered us a special coffee from his own office.

Clean, comfortable, good amenities and a great breakfast selection Clean, comfortable, good amenities and a wonderful breakfast buffet. This hotel had one of the best breakfast buffets we've seen in a while. The croissants were a treat! I used the fitness center and it was spacious and had multiple types of equipment. The lobby entrance is undergoing remodeling, so it was a little tricky to get to the lobby, but that is a temporary inconvenience. There are a couple restaurants in easy walking distance. The area felt pretty safe. The mini frig did not have a freezer section, and the wifi strength wasn't as strong as we'd prefer, but overall we had a nice one night stay, and I would stay here again.

A pleasant surprise Although there was construction going on and the room next to me had small fog that occasionally barked, I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and quiet the place was. I wasn’t expecting the daily breakfast and as such that was a pleasant surprise. It is conveniently located relatively close to the freeway and walking distance to the Target shopping center with various eateries and etc. Hotel staff were very nice. They could put out more hand sanitizer near the eating and serving areas.

An exceptional hotel from the Wyndham chain of hotels! Checked out this morning. I do a lot of motorcycle road trips and so I stay at a lot of Wyndham hotels. This hotel, by far, is the best that I've stayed in the Wyndham chain of hotels in the past five years! I travel to the bay area a couple of times a year and I will be staying at this hotel in the future! From the lobby, to the pool area, to the breakfast area to the room (a single king premium room)....it was all above average from what I usually get or expect at a Wyndham. The hotel staff were all very accommodating and helpful and it was appreciated!
