Beautiful hotel and views This hotel is beautiful!! The Tuscan architecture and decor is spot on and the chill vibe is great. The rooms are also extremely roomy and were very clean. The lake views are beautiful and there’s a little town just a stroll away. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Henderson. Lots to do here!

A Decaying Vision The Lake Las Vegas Hilton seems to have started out a grand enterprise, but has clearly fallen on hard times. The property is dirty and unkempt, the layout bewildering. In the first hour on the property I encountered numerous guests completely lost, asking me for directions. I passed by trash in the walkways, filthy seat covers, frayed upholstery, and dirty carpets. My room has a moldy bathrooms and a semi-functional air conditioning system. The last issue being of the greatest importance given that it has been averaging 110° in Las Vegas the entire time I’ve been here. I was happily surprised to have had great food at breakfast in the Medici Café. The one bright spot so far in the entire visit. I am at this moment at Spa Ravella awaiting a massage appointment that I made. The beginning of my massage experience has been discouraging to say the least. After checking in, I was led to the women’s restroom by what I assume is a mute attendant since she did not speak to me even when I asked a question. My husband was just sent off on his own to find his way. In the women’s changing room none of the lockers have a functional lock, and it wouldn’t have mattered if they did work since the keys provided are universal. After hunting through each open locker to find a pair of shoes that fit me I am now awaiting a massage for which I was charged a mandatory 20% gratuity at the time of check-in. I’m uncertain what to expect but still hope that at least the massage will be acceptable.

Awful I am currently sweating in my room, and the air conditioning cannot keep up. I've heard at least 5 other guests complaining their room is simply too hot. The front desk only promises to send engineering which of course never comes. This huge place is empty and I now know why. The pool was gross, with days of sun tan lotion film floating on top and no towels. To top it all off, this place kind of smells-everywhere. The casino has closed and these folks are obviously planning to close this place and have stopped caring. I am Diamond with Hilton, and have stayed in hundreds of Hiltons all over the world...this place is the worst. DO NOT BOOK HERE.

Luxury living for vacation / great bar on site Once again, we had a wonderful time as we stayed here. Room amenities are lovely: Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries, magnifying mirror at the double sinks, TWO full length mirrors on the closet doors to see the full view before leaving the room ;), thick towels, fluffy pillows, etc. The rooms in which we have stayed have all been VERY quiet, and have kept their temps evenly overnight for an excellent night's rest. Plus, the sheers and the drapes offer 2 lighting options for sleeping. The mini-frig kept beverages cool but not frozen. Housekeeping is prompt, but doesn't rush guests in the morning. The atmosphere is very elegant with the grandeur of the high ceilings, sparkling chandeliers and the beautiful woods. We also encourage guests to dine at the bar for excellent drinks and a delicious, prompt meal. The food selections offer just enough variety to satisfy. The other restaurant on the lower level looked lovely, but we did not try it, so cannot comment.

Nothing to do…. Read the reviews before you book.. Hotel has a lot of potential but everything in or around it is closed.. go to a resort and expect activities and options of things to do.. pool closes at 7? Other stores in area closed. Casino, closed. I don’t know what this area isn’t popular but it looks like everything out here is dying..
