trip to Washington DC 7/23-7/26/2024 for a family event The room service was very bad. The used towels were left in the bathroom. The coffee station did not get replaced or cleaned. The drapes can not be pulled up at night. The parking lot light get into the room at night. The most absurd thing was, When I called to complain, the person who answered the phone kept asking "what do you want us to do?" I hung up and they did not bother to correct until the next day. I paid over $700 on the three nights stay and booked directly with Hilton. This was the worst mistake I have made. Should have used Tripadvisor so that more viewers can see the review.

Worst Hilton This is the worst Hilton I've ever stayed at. Rooms don't seem to have been remodeled since the 1970s. Curtains falling apart. Beds were awful, nothing like standard Hilton mattresses and pillows. Bathroom doors that don't close. Snack pantry consists of vending machines in the basement. Poor front desk staff, made me get my confirmation number out. No other Hilton makes me do that. Strange choice to represent the Hilton brand in such a high profile location. Room 114.

Hilton IAD I chose this hotel for proximity to Dulles airport. My room is the Herndon Suite on the 5 th floor. Interesting layout and it is very large. Deep jetted tub with shower and a second walk in shower. Nice shampoo, conditioner and bath gel. Large sitting area and comfortable king bed. Small table with two chairs. I believe there is a sleeper sofa as well. I was upgraded due to HH status and was hoping that the concierge lounge was available but it has been closed for years. I would stay here again.

Zero starts What an absolute nightmare of a hotel. I have never staid in the hotel before where cleaning stuff makes an conscientious effort to start cleaning as early as possible (around 7:20 am) and make as much noise as they possibly can. Screaming at each other across the hall, vacuuming, throwing things etc. Could hear than through a set of excellent Bose noise canceling headphones. Avoid at all costs unless you like to be woken up with a bang.

Short Stay Pretty decent hotel up in the cut. Surrounded by lots of trees, plenty of parking. Enjoyed the big pool with my family and my son made good use of the workout equipment. The lobby could was pretty spacious and several events were going on. It's been a while since I visited but just wanted to point out the location is awesome. Wasn't to fond of the check-in' staff, friendliness was not the headliner. My room had a king sized bed and there was so much space, a whole family could fit. The hotel's overall campus felt like I was inside of a park.
