Check-in 5*, Hotel 3* We arrived early before Hershey Park to do preliminary check in so all we had to do was collect the key later that evening. Razaw at the front desk was able to get us into our room which was incredibly convenient traveling with young children and greatly appreciated. We were even offered breakfast. Thank you, thank you. What made her offer more genuine and kind was that I booked the reservation under my own name and new Hilton honors # because I wasn't sure if they'd honor my husband's since he wasn't with my daughter and me and the grandkids. He is a Diamond member and was very glad to hear I was treated well. The hotel is a short drive to Hershey Park. There is a restaurant next door that serves breakfast and lunch for anyone desiring something more substantial than the Hampton complimentary, and several restaurants and pubs on the way to the park. The hotel room was ok. The mattress on my bed tilted and was not comfortable. Both the sink and tub drain were finicky and would close easily, backing up water. Noise from above, next door and the hallway was heard, but that's due more to rude guests. The pool was over chlorinated and cloudy. They need to better balance the chemicals. Some photos show a hot tub. There is none. There is a courtyard with tables, umbrellas and corn hole. It's a shame it's not right off the pool, but it's a good space. Adjacent to breakfast, it adds a nice outdoor space to eat. The hotel is very aware of where they are and who they're serving. Hershey=children. There are 4 waffle irons vs. 2 at most Hamptons, games and puzzles in the lobby, a fully stocked pantry and many more tables to eat the included breakfast, so everyone has a seat. There is a sticker on the bathroom mirror that states that they will only clean your room every other day. It's unfortunate that since covid hotels seem to have cut back on this service, as it ages the hotels more rapidly and the rooms feel more dirty. It's in both our interest to return to daily housekeeping service.

Open Shade. No privacy. No Sleep past sunrise. Stayed 2 nights. The shade would not go down all the way, leaving a good 10 inches open. Had to pile towels for privacy. Both mornings was awakened by sunlight flooding the room. Mentioned it to the front desk. The said someone would fix it. No one did. Will not be staying next trip. Thumbs down

Beware! Tiny Rooms Clean and well run hotel but the rooms are much smaller than the Hampton Inn standard. The exterior has been updated to current Hampton brand white with blue highlights standards (ignore the main photo here) as have the lobby, breakfast area and other public areas. The rooms seem to be older and feel like they need a refresh. Breakfast is standard Hampton Inn offerings and decent enough. The rooms are another story. Our 2 queen bed room had barely any storage space for clothes and a tiny closet hiding behind the curtains next to the window. Not sure why the room has both a desk space with a chair and also 2 ottoman’s stored under another desk space on the opposite side of the wall. No one needs 2 desks in a room and drawers would be a much more functional use of space as opposed to two ottomans. Overall, the room feels really small and claustrophobic with my wife and 2 kids. It’s the space of a lesser Hilton brand like Tru but at Hampton prices. If we return to Hershey, we won’t be staying here

Nice hotel but dirty room Stayed in a king suite. Everything was good besides the cleanliness of our room. We have a 9 month old baby who wants to be down and crawling. When we got there we let her down and when we picked her up her legs and hands were black. The carpet was DISGUSTING. Our socks were sticking to the floor it was so dirty. I also found fingernails in our bedroom by the tv stand. First time I’ve stayed in a Hampton inn and it be that dirty. Didn’t make me feel good sleeping there but it was one night. I complained about these things at checkout but the lady just said sorry and she would let someone know because I told her those carpets need to be shampooed bad.

Clean but not maintained The hotel staff is friendly, but the hotel itself is in dire need of help. The rooms are tidy but dated. The TVs do not have smart capability, even the basics. The channel lineup is extremely limited (probably the worst I've seen in a Hilton brand, and I've been diamond for a few years). In the bathroom, the bottom of the door had water damage, the drain would not screw into the tub (so taking a bath was useless), and the shower head pulled away from the tile because it was not caulked properly. The hotel has 1 (one) washer and 1 (one) dryer...and it is less than 5 miles from a major theme park...want to do laundry? Good luck is all I can say. Hilton properties all have a Peloton, and this hotel is no exception. The exception is that this one does not work (well, can't connect to any network), and no one knows anything about how to fix it. Breakfast is average for this brand, but nothing to write home about. I would not stay here again, even given my loyalty to Hilton for status points, and that is saying something. I feel like I wasted over 100,000 points staying here when I could have saved those for another trip. If this is your only choice, great. If not, I would probably explore other options. Pros: Clean, breakfast included, staff friendly Cons: Bathroom substandard, TV substandard, Laundry inadequate for busy season, Fitness facilities not maintained
