A great spot for a weekend getaway for two I read a recommendation and had this on my list of places to visit soon. It's a great couples retreat and if you like to hike and be outdoors even better. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was very good. Our room and the grounds are beautiful.

Fantastic stay We had a wonderful stay at The Old Edwards Inn. The staff were friendly and professional. We stayed in a King suite cottage which was spacious and well appointed. Madison’s restaurant is excellent. One thing I found interesting. They show the property on line as a four star hotel. It is as nice as most five star properties we have stayed at. We will absolutely be back!

Still Grand, Ready for upgrades! It’s still grand but the service element is slipping. The property is nothing short of amazing. There is no compromise in the quality of construction. The bathrooms are worthy of a million dollar condo. Nespresso, check. Self closing toilets, check. You could play pickleball in the large bathrooms. There are a few items ready for an upgrade. The coffee offered in the morning extremely weak. If you like Starbucks, it’s a pass. Go to the corner grocery. Ironically, they have a $15,000 espresso machine they could use to offer shots to boost the experience. They don’t. They have great coffee! The TV system is old. You can’t connect your Netflix to it. The remote is a disaster. The ceilings fan is not very variable. Its helicopter or slo motion and had to figure out. We stayed in 804 and you could hear everything said next door. Every time they even turned on the water. Thin walls are in need of insulation. We will always stay here so I’m just hoping the new owners take notes!

Wonderful Weekend We have been visiting the Cashiers/Highlands area for years and often ate at Madison's or the Wine Garden -- finally decided to book a stay for our anniversary. It was perfect! We stayed in a lovely lodge suite that overlooked Main Street -- the room was spacious, well-maintained and charming. We enjoyed a wonderful meal at Madison's and received excellent service from Samantha. We also tried the pizza restaurant for lunch, spent an amazing afternoon at the spa and enjoyed nightcaps in the lounge each evening. The service and staff were attentive and friendly, often greeting us by name. We can't wait for our next visit!

Great Inn, amazing service, great location. Fantastic service. Came there impromptu after bad experience at different Inn. The staff were amazing, got us a beautiful lodge room, made us feel right at home. Outstanding little touches like a gift bag for our son with his name on it, everyone knowing our names, constantly asking how they could make our stay better. Fantastic meals, and its right in the heart of town, so you could walk to other lovely restaurants.
