Heaven in Holderness Where to begin? If you are looking for the perfect vacation spot, head for Squam lake in New Hampshire and stay at the Manor. The grounds are beautful, the staff is warm and welcoming, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious, and tea time provides a Victorian ambiance (The scones were delicious!). There is so much to do in the area for those who love the outdoors; your trip will be unforgettable!

This place is a winner! The Manor on Golden Pond was exquisite in every way. It is a beautiful place where the inn keepers have attended to every detail from the pillows to the towels to the tea service in the afternoons. Breakfasts were incredible and we ate a fine meal in the casual pub--delicious. Everyone on the staff was lovely. We will be back and we highly recommend this gem.

Lovely Stay This was our first time to the Squam Lake area, and we loved it. The Manor on Golden Pond was lovely. We had a suite on the first floor that overlooked the MT's and the lake. It was private but you had the opportunity to meet people at the lovely, cooked breakfast every morning.

Stunning views, charming rooms, warm hospitality at The Manor 5-star personalized experience. Excellent customer service. Charming rooms. Delicious breakfasts. Responsive staff. It feels like going in a time machine at The Manor, taking you back to a simpler time with the serenity and civility that many of us crave. The staff at The Manor are all cheerful, energetic, resourceful and talented. They create the kind of personalized attention that makes you want to return again and again. Some of the most beautiful views of Squam Lake, close to all access points of Lake Winnipesaukee. Looking forward to returning.

Excellent weekend spot We loved our weekend stay at the Manor on the Golden Pond. The service was impeccable. Megan and the team took such good care of us and were very patient with my elderly mother’s requests-thank you. Our room (Churchill) had a wonderful view of the lake and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom is all brand new and the bath very comfortable. I am sure Churchill would have enjoyed his bath. We had excellent breakfast menu and the gluten and dairy pancakes were really delicious. Our lunch was very nice on the patio and dinner at the main restaurant was fantastic. Great selection of wines as well. Overall really fantastic stay. I am only giving it 4 because all the renovations are not done, mainly the Spa which looks to be amazing once open! We will be back
