Hair on sheets Dirty sheets. Found hair on them and black marks. Pool water was murky so it didn’t look clean to swim in. Precious guest probably had a dog since it smelled like it. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Go some place else

Overall, Would Stay Here Again When I got here, it said that you could just check-in on the app and skip the front desk; I even got to CHOOSE my room. I opted for something close to the side door on the ground floor so I could easily load/unload my stuff. The digital key worked fine for my room, but apparently not the side door. When I told them at the desk, they seemed aware of that issue and gave me a regular card to use for the door. The only other issue I had was some black marks on the sheets that I noticed the next morning. I didn't notice them the night before because I had already turned the light out when I pulled the covers back and went to bed. I told them of the issue, and the bed was changed and the trashes emptied, etc. when we came back later that day. It was busy that weekend; there had obviously been a wedding (I had seen people all dressed up the day before and they were talking about it at breakfast). Breakfast, like what some others have said, was pretty average. There weren't very many waffle irons for people to use and by the time my friend and I got to breakfast on both mornings, you just had to make do with what was left. The dining area was nice; and I thought it was neat that there was a glass wall between it and the pool area. If we had had time during our trip, we would have used the pool/hot tub. Overall, it was clean and a nice place. If/when I come back to Holland, this is where I will stay (especially after I had read reviews about some of the other places). I'm glad that I chose this place and would feel fine about staying there again. My friend said she loved the pillows and slept well. I thought the bed and pillows were nice too, but I can't really judge the sleep quality accurately since I deal with a lot of physical pain that frequently interrupts me.

Aggressive and hidden fees. They charge an extra 20% without telling you in the confirmation email or check in. I learned of this extra 20% when I checked my bank account because it’s not on the bill, either. I called and asked about the charge. The person said the charge should fall off within “3-5” business days then blamed the banks for holding onto the money. The hotel is fine, but these policies are deceptive at best and certainly appear fraudulent. What other business charges an extra 20% without telling the customer or giving a receipt? I recommend avoiding this hotel.

Noisy Overpriced for what was a very mediocre hotel experience. I expect more from the Hampton/Hilton brand and for what I paid. Before anything else - let me start by saying the staff were 5-star! They were friendly, courteous, helpful, welcoming -- I have nothing but good things to say about the staff. The room itself though was average at best. Bedding was worn, no USB ports or even outlets on or near the bedside table to charge our phones, very harsh bedside lights, and absolutely zero soundproofing. Constant noise of doors closing, voices/footsteps in the hall, and incessant stomping/banging sounds coming from the room above me. This went on until midnight and started up again well before 6am. Felt like I was paying a 4-star Hampton price for a 2-star budget hotel stay.

Great Family Vacation Our family was very impressed with this motel. The pool was so nice and there were games and workout rooms that our family enjoyed. The thing that really made our trip was the fact that they had gluten free items available for breakfast. Three of us have celiac disease and it is often difficult to find places that offer more than one item if they offer any at all. We truly enjoyed our stay!
