Very Nice Stay We stayed here one night before flying home. It's right across the street from the Tri-Rail which we ended up using to get to Miami International airport. Very convenient. The hotel has a lot of amenities. A restaurant and a bar, a nice pool with a waterfall a hot tub. The front desk staff was very welcoming and accommodating. One front desk lady, I didn't get her name unfortunately, walked with us way out front to show us how to get to the Tri-Rail on foot. We would definitely stay here again!

Hoping for some understanding The manger was always to busy when we called with issues and finally talked to his assistant and was told he would refund some of the money back for the tv not working in our first night and then the 2 time staying after returning from out trip the AC didn’t work and never offered us a different room till mantance could come in the next morning and 3 weeks later still no refund and we’ve tried reaching out to axle on times since and keep getting told his I’m a meeting. Hope the general manager sees this and could help with this issue

Fine if you don’t mind waiting over an hour for breakfast Breakfast service was the worst experience! 1hr and 15 for breakfast. 6-7 tables served before us. 2 waitresses working hard but obviously kitchen staff was lacking. Eggs were cold and toast came out after everything else not toasted. Waitress felt bad. Manager of hotel took some money off but they should have paid us to eat! Keep going this way they’ll be out of business soon. Staff was really nice. Just didn’t think the manager was very helpful at all Oh and my kid didn’t eat free _

I Really Hope the General Manager Reads This!!! My wife and I stayed at this particular Holiday Inn Thursday night February 8th while prepping for our first ever cruise. That stay was great, super clean room, friendly staff, everything went smoothly. Took our cruise and returned back to port Monday February 12th. While I was on the cruise, I used the "spotty" internet and found out I had meetings (online zoom) I needed to attend Monday when we came back. Knowing our flight back home was not until Monday afternoon, and knowing we had no place else to go I reached out (while in the middle of the ocean) on a Sunday night to the same Holiday Inn so I could try and set something up so my wife and I could have a place to work, take a nap after a long weekend, and a shower before heading home. I had the pleasure of speaking to a manager named Derek K. He was amazingly helpful and did everything he could to accommodate our very odd Monday 7am return. I was losing reception from the very unreliable internet on the boat, and had to quickly give Derek my name, and number so he could find my reservation from the other day, so he could book us for the upcoming morning. As I was losing reception Derek told me "Sir don't worry I will find your info in our system and rest assure I will get you booked". Long story short we were off the cruise at 6am the next morning and heading to the Holiday Inn without truly knowing we had a reservation because I was not positive, he got all our information from the night before. Upon walking back into the hotel, the wife and I were cranky, exhausted, and knew we had a busy day on our plates. We were greeted by a wonderful smiling face belonging to a gal named Aloria. She was super helpful finding our reservation that YES Derek K. did successfully book for me, and he also left notes in the system explaining our situation. Aloria knowing we were exhausted worked at warp speed to get us checked in and did so while continuing to smile the most refreshing smile after a long weekend. We went upstairs to get ourselves setup, and we were both so humbled by Aloria's friendly welcome my wife and I decided to go downstairs across the parking lot to a Cali Coffee to help wake us up, and we went to the desk to insist that Aloria would make my day by allowing us to buy a coffee for her. She was yet again so humble, and so appreciative, I could tell she felt bad allowing us to pay for her coffee, but we absolutely would not take no for an answer because it was the least, we could do for her amazing customer service (GM please do not get mad at her we were getting her one even if she said no lol). My wife and I stayed until 2pm or so and off we went to the airport. Sometimes when you are having a rough start to a day it takes one friendly act of kindness to change the day for someone. Knowing that Derek remembered to book that for us the night before while I was trying to keep reception in the middle of the ocean, and then arriving the next day to one of the friendliest, sweetest front desk receptionists we have ever encountered at a hotel just made my wife and I realize that despite living in this seemingly cold world, it is important to know there are still people with big hearts and driven to customer service like Derek and Aloria still left in this world because I think we can all agree there is just not enough of people like them, which is why I appreciated them so much. Reason I titled this "hoping the GM reads this" is because I want the General Manager to know my wife and I travel to Fort Lauderdale a lot because it is our Gateway to Caribbean Islands we frequently travel, and when we come, we always look for whatever hotel has the best bang for the buck pricing. However, after our amazing experience at this Holiday Inn my wife and I will NEVER look anywhere else when we come to town, because of Derek and Aloria we will ONLY be staying at this Holiday Inn when we are in town. Sorry for such a long review, but I really felt this was something that needed to be explained as thoroughly as possible. I am hoping a review like this could be placed in both their folders so the next time they are up for reviews or salary increases this review will be at the top of the folder. Thank you, Holiday Inn, and thank you Aloria and Derek.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!! I STRONLY DO NOT RECOMMEND. I arrived at the Fort Lauderdale Airport and called at 4:30 for an airport shuttle. I was given directions on where to be picked up by the hotel staff. About six to seven calls and 4 hours later I was picked up with not even as much as am "I'm sorry". Of the two key cards given, one didn't work at all. Also, the breakfast was less than desirable and took over half an hour for a piece of toast and fruit. Not to mention you have to pay additional for the breakfast. Additionally, the price was astronomical on Friday night during the busy season. You will be doing yourself a favor if you spend your money elsewhere.
