There’s good and bad The bed was very comfortable. The carpet was really old and you had to wait a very long time to catch the elevator. The pool area was very small and unattractive but the deck overlooking the marina was nice and the location is close to many attractions including the beach.

Anniversary Trip My husband and I visited Ilikai for our anniversary, had a great and wonderful stay. The staff was amazing , especially loved the complimentary ice cream!

Great, Authentic Hawaiian experience Had a great time here with the family. Marie from front desk helped us find a suitable room and helped give us a memorable experience with the family. Highly recommend The Ilikai Luxury suites!

Location, location, location This is the third time I have stayed at the Ilikai and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. We normally pick a room with a view of the lagoon and the pool. We rent directly from the owner and room is quite spacious but a little dated, the complex has a 7/11 to get supplies from or there is an ABC across the road. If you are staying for a longer time, the Ala Moana shopping Center is 15 min walk and there is an amazing foodland there. There is a bus stop out the front which takes you to Downtown Honolulu one way and Waikiki the other way. Friday nights they have a luau for free. Pesca is on top of the building if you want somewhere special to eat, but worth the lift up just for the views. There are plenty of bars and restaurants walking distance. There are 2 pools, one for kiddies and quite shallow, the other is great, warm and the deep end is quite deep. A bit of trivia, the opening scene of the original Hawaii 50 was filmed here, and Gilligans Island Minnow left from the port just out the front.

Worst Hotel in Hi Avoid this place. It’s one step above motel 6 with the price tag of a luxury brand. Worst experience ever at a hotel. Be careful with your credit card, they charge odd fee’s then say they’ve been released but really haven’t. Towels ate disgusting and staff was rude. I’ve been to Hawaii 6 times now, worst experience was here.
