Aston Waikiki Circle Hotel

Convenient,Clean and Pleasant Prefer this small hotel over some of the larger ones for it’s convenience and hospitality with aloha

Great location, needs updating The location of this hotel is perfect. I would give 5 stars if I was only rating it based on location and view. If you have an ocean front room, your view is amazing and you can see the ocean all day. The hotel itself is very outdated. It was built in the 60s and it seems like they haven’t updated anything since then. There are no screen door on the balcony, no fan in the bathroom, there is no space in shower for putting your items (no soap holders), the shower floor had stains in the grout, no cabinet storage in the bathroom for your toiletries and the two that are there are where they place your clean towels, you can hear the elevator open and close outside your room in the hallway all night, the AC unit is loud, the water pressure in the shower and toilet are very bad, and there were no extra blankets in the closet. The hallways outside your room and inside the elevator always smelled musty and/or of body odor. If you plan on spending a lot of time in your room, stay elsewhere because these rooms are extremely small. If you don’t care about your room’s modernity or size, then this hotel is perfect for you because of the view and location. Parking is also $45 per night, even though the front desk agent told me when I checked in that I was receiving a discounted rate of $10 per night. That was not true, my bill at check-out stated otherwise. I would only return for the view.

The view is sublime. 180 degree views from our oceanfront (albeit right across the street from the beach) is simply amazing. It was a wonderful way to relax when in from the beach.

Good views, great location All was great, except for a large amount of small flying insects on walls and ceiling of shower. Location is outstanding and staff is super friendly and accommodating.

Old hotel needs some love, great views, great location Room was small only 1 night stand and Queen bed. AC until needed a tissue stuffed in to make it blow when you wanted. Found 2 carpets tacks. Bed was old and worn. Fridge was nice. Room did not need a desk would have been better with a unit to hold microwave, coffee pot and a few drawers. We found stuff left by the previous guests in the nightstand drawer.
