A decent option for a Waikiki beach stay There are many things to like about the Embassy Suites Waikiki Beach - with a few areas for potential improvement. What I liked: This is one of a few hotel options in Waikiki that has "standard rooms/suites" that can comfortably accommodate larger families, as is the case with most Embassy suites. The Embassy Suites is nicely located near what I consider to be the main Waikiki beach area - with all the main sights within walking distance. Nearby dining options are plentiful and there is always something going on in the shopping area next to the hotel. The complimentary breakfast is amazing - and they know how to cater to a large breakfast crowd that may all show up at the same time. Also, nice evening reception for all guests, with a bit of a "skip the line" system for Diamond guests. The assigned room was large enough to accommodate our group comfortably, and the room was prepared as requested. At first, I thought I was "downgraded" to a low floor, but quickly realized the advantage of being on the same floor as the pool and the breakfast area - so from that perspective, nice room assignment, even though I did not get commanding views from this lower floor room (and balcony) What to watch for/could be improved Even though I am convinced that room housekeeping is kept to a high standard, there are some limitations when it comes to moisture and carpets. My allergies went into high gear while in the room - and frankly the decor and amenities could use a bit of an update or remodel... so yes, the main rooms are, in my opinion, a bit dated, but this is not uncommon in Waikiki. Front desk service was also quite uneven... sometimes meeting some very friendly employees... and sometimes... not so much All in, this is a good hotel which offers families a decent place to stay at what is usually a reasonable price, by Waikiki standards. There are likely a few more modern or remodeled options - but not necessarily that many that would have all the amenities offered by the Embassy Suites

Good Location with Great Service Wow!! We have been to many ES, and this location does not disappoint, they do however, EXCEL at the customer service. Sue at check in made our trip the 10/10 with her help with room location. We had to change room configurations to make her plan work, but she was able to get our large family in the same tower with each half on same floors. (During the busiest time of the year) Maile (bartender with a smile that could light the room) made that first night SO much better with her kind helpful tips (and amazing drinks during the nightly reception POOLSIDE) ES really does have an amazing group of employees they should be proud represent them.

Above and beyond support for my employee and his family I had an employee undergo emergency surgery while on the island for work. I flew his wife and 5 year old daughter from Arizona to be there with him for support during his hospital stay and recovery process. He stayed at your property until he could be cleared to fly home. Your hotel, while booked full due to RIMPACK 2024 not only found a 2 bedroom suite for his family, you also found a way to extend their stay an additional 2 days for his recovery process. Your Front Office Manager Kaiana Lee is an amazing ambassador to your brand and she should receive recognition by your senior management. Once again, your property was amazing and your management team exceptional. You are to be commended for folks like Ms. Lee who have provided such valuable, and meaningful assistance to my employee and his family. I am truly thankful for her, and your organization’s support. Staff is Great! Property is dated I have been staying with Hilton and am a faithful diamond member. This would not be my first choice of a Hilton property to stay in, however the staff really made the stay. We are active duty military and staying for an extended time while househunting. The property is dated, the elevators sound like they are about to go out, the room is old and smells, the shower still uses an old curtain, toilet flushed and actually broke. Breakfast is decent but extremely crowded and the pool is way to small for the amount of people staying here. However, the staff is GREAT! Our best experience was with Mr. Otto at the pool. He was friendly, attentive, great personality and one of the most positive people who made this stay a good one. He offered great insight to us moving here. His personality and kindness was above and beyond! Mr. Keola at the bar was awesome as well! Both were so patient with our family, amazingly friendly and helped us unwind after crazy days of househunting and work obligations. Although the property is dated, Hilton got it right with the employees they have hired. Everyone from front desk staff, housekeeping, Mr. Otto, and Mr. Keola. Although we elected to check out early and go to another property they made our stay. I work hospitality and customer service and it goes along way! The staff here is 5 stars! Property is 3.
