Disappointing Surprised at all the glowing reviews of this hotel. Walking in felt like a 60's timewarp! The good things were the beds and pillows, which were super comfy, and the room was a good size. The location is excellent and right on the beach. The biggest disappointment was the Club Voyager 27. Having been to many Clubs and Lounges around the world this one was easily the worst! One spirit and three wine choices, all served in plastic cups, is not good enough for the price paid. Minimal food choices were offered and food was not labelled. Honestly it was hard to work out what some things were, let alone catering to people's dietary allergies. The pool is very crowded and there is little shade. Unless you got there at 8 a.m., forget getting a lounge with shade. Inflatables add to the pool congestion. I would like to congratulate the hotel on their environmental initiatives. All guests are provided with a refillable drink flask with water filters located at various places around the hotel and pool. Dukes restaurant was very popular and we did have a nice meal there. Hotel needs a massive upgrade. Improve the Club straight away aligning it with the services offered at other Outrigger Waikiki hotels.

breath taking amazing stay We had the best time of our lives in Waikiki staying at the outrigger front beach views! best views! We booked for my husband’s 50th 2 weeks stay with 6 kids. No joke! My family didn’t want come back home! Staffs always friendly. We spent a lot of time by the pool, towel guys were always helpful and friendly, room services always friendly and made our stay absolutely amazing, staff at reception always there to help and friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast vip lounges and the cocktail bar every evening for our stay. Over all we will be back same place as our stay was very pleasant. We want to thank you to all the staffs and managements for our pleasant stay and will definitely be back! High recommendation for our stay. Best wishes Inaas kanj and Fred lozi

Doesn't live up to hype It was a disappointing start, the hotel did not have my reservation, even though we had booked in October 2023. Fortunately, it was all sorted out the next morning and the room we were moved to was much more acceptable. It had a better view and was more spacious. The rooms and the hotel, in general, is dated but the beds were comfortable and the pillows really good too. The pool area is absolutely appalling, it is small and all the lounges are mainly secured by 8:01am and although it is supposed to be policed and towels removed if no one is there, I did not see this happen at all. There is hardly any shade, no umbrellas and no room to move. The pool itself is filled with tattooed bogans on large floating devices. The biggest disappointment was Club Voyager 47 - absolutely the worst executive club/lounge I have ever been in. The Club view doesn't make up for the mediocre food and poor, limited and mostly inedible choices. I would never stay at this hotel again, I'm sure there is much better available and next time I won't fall for the hype.

Loved our stay Our hotel stay was exceptional, thanks to the friendly staff, including the bell desk, front desk, housekeeper, and restaurant personnel. The room was spacious and comfortable, although the balcony was somewhat small, which didn't bother us since we spent little time there. We appreciated the convenient location of Duke's restaurant within the hotel. An added bonus was the coin-operated laundromat by the pool, allowing us to do laundry before checking out. Note that drivers should be aware the hotel's sign is easy to overlook, located near the "Blue Note" sign, and be prepared for valet-only parking at $50 per day. Overall, we would definitely return.

Perfect resort in heart of Waikiki! On our trips to Oahu, we usually stay at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. We decided to stay closer to Waikiki this time and glad we did. Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort had everything — the famous Dukes Restaurant and the Blue Note Hawaii right on the property with plenty of other great restaurants and shopping nearby. This resort is ON THE BEACH. (No need to walk across the street to feel the sand between your toes!) If you want to learn to surf, sail on a catamaran, you can right from the beach. Professional, exceptionally friendly staff. (We were there during a hotel strike but Outrigger employees were not involved. Was told by locals that Outrigger treats their employees well.)
