elevator wait times the wait times for the elevator was unacceptable. we took advantage of the club lounge for breakfast and dinner. the menu could use some improvement. we preferred to eat at other restaurants most of the time.

Get a great deal at Costco Travel Second year in a row. The elevators take a while sometimes during high volume but they have 6 for each tower and like 35 floors. Breakfast buffet was $70, yikes. Rooftop pool bar was excellent with music and fire pit. Lobby is stunning. Valet car parkers are fast and friendly. This is the best hotel on the strip. It's not overrun with families and its large enough to have everything but small enough to feel special.

Good central hotel Good central hotel for Waikiki Beach. Room was good and bed was comfortable. Paid for an ocean view room but felt that the room we got was barely an ocean view. The lifts were extremely slow and there was always a lot of people waiting. The service around the bar was great during the day but very ordinary in the evening.

Real review after 8 days The location is the best of the hotel. I will not consider this a resort just a remodeled hotel. The room was nice and we did receive cleaning services every day. We paid for breakfast and it was worth it is on the second floor service was nice and good great very convenient. The pool is nice but too small and the other pool is only for member of a club and is always empty I wished they opened both pools due to the amount of people. The oceanarium is great and we saw it everyday at breakfast. The resort offers free chairs and umbrella in a nearby place called beach candy this is nice. elevators are slow. We were in the 8th floor and many times took the stairs because the elevator was full. The food in the swell bar and in the restaurant in the second floor for breakfast was food. Front desk was bad , arrival the coordinator guy couldn’t find our reservation and we asked something special to celebrate myself and my son’s birthday nothing was done. Also I had to ask several times about the services of the “resort” . We called front desk to get transfer to the spa and I was told they couldn’t do it and transferred me to the valet parking, but when my husband called he got transferred. The massage in the spa was good but they are no amenities in the spa. Location was the best thing on the back of the hotel you can take the bus or rent in the hotel a car that was the most convenient for us. Parking is $48 a night which is expensive with all the “resort fees”

There's Better Options Out There... We chose this "resort" for our honeymoon because it looked amazing online. Upon arrival, it was obvious that this is no resort, but a semi-nice looking hotel at best. There's always a line for the front desk that moves extremely slowly, and the front desk person that assisted us with our check in (I remember her name, but I won't throw her under the bus) offered little in the area of personality or warmth. On the other side of the lobby is the concierge desk doing absolutely nothing, and if you request any assistance for anything, they'll just refer you back to the front desk. We did get a nice mini bottle of Prosecco, card and cookies in our room congratulating us on our honeymoon, which was a nice touch. The room accommodations are super basic. The tub/toilet area is separate from the sink and is extremely small. The pool area was nice but we couldn't enjoy it due to it being overrun with children throwing balls and splashing around all over the place. We did enjoy the drinks we were served and the oysters were great. By our 3rd day, we'd still received no housekeeping and when we brought it to the front desk's attention, we were advised that they only clean every other day, and on our scheduled day of service that they'd get to us when they can, if they can. We set a tray outside our door to be picked up by housekeeping and after almost a full day of it still sitting there, my husband physically walked it down to concierge himself. Our room was never attended to for the duration of our trip, so my husband complained to the manager and had them reimburse our resort fees. There is no ice machine on our floor, so we have to go either two floors up or two floors down for ice. The best thing about this hotel, since it truly is not "resort", is its proximity to the beach and other stores and restaurants in the city. We made due for the remainder of our stay, but I'm sure we will not choose this location for our next visit.
