Hawaii was very nice The hotel itself looks very nice and the location is good. Additionally, the staff were friendly. However, last week it was very crowded to the point we could not get a chair at the pool because we did not wake up early enough. Also, the resort fee that gives you nothing is ridiculous. Probably would not go back due to the crowds and excess fees.

Good ocean front location but service was disappointing and needs improvement I stayed at this hotel to celebrate my sister's birthday. My review of the hotel is mixed. Pros: The view from the balcony of my two rooms were gorgeous, Ocean front and Diamond Head view. The infinity pool was great for a morning swim before all the crowd. The proper offers great sunset views due to it's location. The hotel is recently renovated so everything is clean. Adelina, the my housekeeping lady was super energetic and helpful. She's my godsend with all my in-room amenity items. When concierge couldn't help me, she figured out how to get me some band-aid. Cons: I was disappointed with the service from this hotel. Here are two examples. The manager at the take-out station for breakfast was extremely rude and unaccommodating. She practically yelled at me. The concierge desk was also rude and refuse to help my daughter when she asked for a band-aid. Hawaiians are known for their hospitality and friendliness but these two individuals prove to be the exception.

Excellent location, convenience everywhere and great beach and pools! This is my 2nd stay at the Sheraton Waikiki and I just booked my 3rd stay for next year. The hotel is clean, fresh and the rooms feel new because of the recent refurbishment. I love that there are the shops in the lobby along with the shops/mall right outside the front lobby. I went on a girls trip with my 70's-ish mom, sister and her 7 year old daughter. We all loved the convenience of having everything nearby from the Waikiki shopping, restaurants, ABC store super close. The best part was being able to wake up, pick up a quick coffee downstairs and then head to the pool or beach right at my hotel. We chose this one because the beach access is at the hotel so no need to walk across a busy traffic street to get to the beach like some of the other hotels. I loved that there was an adult infinity pool and a 'everyone' pool. We stayed at the pool or beach each day and paid for a cabana because we prefer shade. There really is no shade if you don't purchase it. A big tip if you are a morning coffee drinker - the downstairs coffee shop line gets insanely long and slow so do yourself a favor and order ahead online when you wakeup or even the evening before so you can walk right up and pick up your coffee - No waiting on line!

Excellent view! We had a fantastic time at the Sheraton Waikiki. Our family stayed in a High Oceanfront Room, and the view was spectacular! I would go out to the open balcony every morning and every evening just to enjoy the breeze and listen to the ocean waves. It was truly relaxing! On top of that, we also enjoyed both the family pool and the infinity pool. The hotel also offered other activities, such as lei making and exercise classes. While we didn’t take advantage of those, we did book the shuffleboard one night (complimentary). The hotel was also close to all major attractions. In fact, we could walk to Waikiki Beach from the family pool to the hotel- just a few steps away! Overall, my family had an awesome time here!

Great property and location My wife and I recently stayed at the Sheraton Waikiki Beach for several days after flying over from the big island. The hotel was huge and bustling and we really enjoyed our stay! The hotel is about a 25 minute drive from the HNL airport and was only about $42 for a cab, which there were plenty of. The hotel is on top of a small shopping center with stores, cafés and a grocery store all on the main level which really adds to the amount of people in the lobby area. The line to check in was fairly deep and didn’t move as quickly as we hoped, but the employees were extremely friendly. Our room was an ocean view room on the 28th floor and the balcony/view was awesome. The room itself was a little on the small side with only a 1 vanity sink, but was clean and had a fridge and the normal Sheraton amenities. Our room also overlooked The Edge pool which was amazing, it’s a large infinity pool that ends right at the ocean wall. We spent several afternoons leaning against the edge, drinking a cocktail and watching sea turtles in the surf. There is also a very small private beach to the right and just down from the property is a huge public beach. On the other side of the resort is another large pool and a kids area which was overrun with families so we typically stayed on the beach or The Edge which is for ages 16+. The prices at the resort are very high - $28 for a cheeseburger at the pool high, but they are high everywhere in Waikiki. There is a store in the hotel that sells sandwiches, beer/wine, etc. at better prices, but if you walk right across the street from the lobby there is a grocery store with prices that can’t be beat. The location of the hotel is perfect, it’s walking distance to all the restaurants and nightlife as well as the pick up points of most excursions we looked at. Most flights back the mainland take off later at night and we were also able to arrange a midafternoon checkout for $75. There were a LOT of people at the property with lines for the stores, line for the elevators, lines for lounge chairs at the pool so be sure to bring your patience. They did a great job with cleanliness as well even wiping down pool loungers after people leave. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and the great location to everything we wanted to do.
