Day at the Beach - Hawaii edition We were able to experience this hotel pool/beach on a day resort pass and it was great! Staff was efficient, service was good and the drinks tasted great. The pool was crowded with children but that is to be expected. The private beach was clean. There is a dolphin lagoon which was a nice surprise. The lobby is opulent and the lavatories were very nicely kept. Only minor hiccup was someone was in our booked beach lunger when we arrived, but staff was available to assist. The call button for orders was great and someone came to take orders right away.

Excellent Vacation The best spot on the island! You get everything in one spot. A great pool, awesome beach, excellent snorkeling and a dolphin show. Not to mention the high level of service and clean rooms! We had a great time and will be back

Another week in paradise This was our third visit to the Kahala and it was incredible. We had a scenic room with a lanai and we could tell it was recently updated. We love the layout of the bathroom and the room itself was spacious for our family. There are so many reasons why this is a special place. 1. The service is absolutely amazing, from the restaurants, the pool staff, housekeeping and valet all so helpful. 2. The proximity to the beach from the pool. So easy to go back and forth. 3. The dolphins - they are so special and my kids love watching them every day. Such a wonderful place and we can't wait to come back!

Peaceful and Beautiful This hotel saved our trip! We originally stayed at the LxR and were so disappointed with the beach and the noise. We moved here the second day and it was just lovely. The hotel is celebrating 60 years and it is a bit dated but in a timeless and elegant way. The decor is tasteful, rooms are spacious and beds are so comfy. The staff is friendly and beyond helpful. The beach and pool are lovely. The hotel is located in a beautiful residential neighborhood, near mansions and is so quiet and peaceful. The dolphins are just so unexpected and add to the serenity of the hotel. Even the Mountain View from our balcony so peaceful and beautiful. We ate at Arancini and it was our best meal in Waikiki. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Would recommend to anyone looking for luxury and a peaceful vacation, it really is a special place.
