Very impressed We were very happy with the Kaimana Beach Hotel. The room, the view, the restaurant and the staff were all wonderful. When you book check the views in the pictures and the room size- they are all representative. It is an older hotel and though the recent updates are nice, there are a few issues like no fan in the bathrooms and toilets that don't flush with a lot of force. Still the overall attributes far outweigh the small inconveniences and I think are accounted for in the relatively affordable room prices.

Lovely boutique hotel in a quiet spot within easy walking distance of Waikiki The staff were super welcoming and caring, the free classes (yoga and lei making) were fabulous. The location is amazing - easy to walk to Waikiki restaurants but next to the park with a quieter beach. The food at the Hau Tree was some of the best that we had during our stay in Honolulu. Overall a great experience.

Regular visitors to Oahu new favorite hotel We visit Oahu regularly and usually stay at the Kahala but have also stayed at the Westin Moana Surfrider and the Royal Hawaiian. A friend recommended we try the Kaimana this time, and we’re so grateful they did! The Kaimana is our new favorite Oahu hotel. We loved its proximity to the main drag of Waikiki (an easy and short walk through a lovely park and past the war memorial and aquarium) but appreciated that it is away from the chaos, noise and the severe overcrowding of the main drag. The Kaimana essentially has its own beach that is far less crowded and that many locals enjoy. The staff was exquisite in every way, my boys got to know them over our time there and even came to know our amazing housekeeper by name. We stayed on the top floor which has been completely renovated along with the lobby and restaurant. I believe they are renovating all the rooms in the coming year. The hotel has a lively vibe without noise issues combined with a boutique and personalized feel which is so rare to find. The Hau Tree restaurant on the first floor is extraordinary. It’s frequented by locals which is indicative of how exceptional the food is. The lobster eggs Benedict for brunch is amazing. I don’t see us ever staying anywhere else on Oahu. Thank you to the incredible staff for making our vacation perfect!

Real beach front property Everything from the rooms to the restaurant are perfect and hau tree is a must! Great food and service. The beach front rooms are beautiful and you are on the beach not like some other hotels that have some photoshop. It’s away from the mob of Waikiki but close enough to walk over if that’s what you like

View, view, view! Highly recommended. Make sure to book a room that faces to the ocean. It will cost more, but it’s worth it! It’s close enough to Waikiki, but far enough that it’s so quiet from hustle and bustle of the city noise. We slept as we listened to just waves. What’s a blissful time!
