White Sands Hotel

Awesome hotel! Thanks to the valet, front desk, cleaning crew, and general manager for making our stay great. From the start, everyone was friendly and made the place feel like home. The valet was quick, the front desk was cheerful and helpful, and the room was super clean with some nice extras. Also, while we were roaming around the property, the general manager Romeo took the time to say hello. Everyone seemed to enjoy their jobs which made the experience even better. We loved the amenities and fun events throughout our stay, my family and I will definitely be back soon!

Zero quality of sleep The room was ok. Not very clean but passable. Some mold in the bathroom and smelly towels. All of this was expected, reading previous reviews. What I did not expect was the private party with disco music which went on under my window until well after midnight. No double glazing, no pre warning, no apologies. Apparently there is a bar, open til late which I wasn't aware of and I was lucky enough to get an upgrade to the room above it. If an hotel has so little respect for its guests' sleep to allow this level of noise, then it should only be chosen for hens/stag dos. For anyone else, it's like a Russian roulette. Maybe worth spending a few bucks more and get a place where they have quiet hours.

A hidden gem in the heart of Waikiki! From the moment we arrived at White Sands Hotel, we felt like we were stepping into a golden era of Hawaii. This beautiful and playful hotel perfectly captures the spirit of old Waikiki with its vintage touches in every corner. Every team member we came across really embodies the warm aloha spirit Hawaii is known for. From the moment we stepped into the property we were greeted by Jericho and Kaila who were so friendly and welcoming, they made our experience was above & beyond. Romeo the GM also went out of his way to make sure we felt right at home. The Heyday restaurant truly lives up to its name! Dining here was a highlight of our experience here at White Sands. The food was absolutely delicious from their fried chicken with their famous yum yum sauce to their gooey cheese toast to their ribeye steak and fried rice, everything was phenomenon. Their F&B Director, Jordan and Kendall our server took such amazing care of us and made sure we were happy with everything. They knew I loved rice and made sure I had a bowl of their fluffy rice to go with all of the delicious bites. Plus, they have the cutest swings to enjoy a mai tai from by the pool. The best spot for a happy hour in Waikiki for sure. Between sipping mai tais by the pool, enjoying the gentle Waikiki breeze, and unwinding in such a nostalgic, stylish setting, we fell in love with White Sands Hotel. It's a rare blend of understated elegance and vibrant Hawaiian style. If you’re looking to experience the essence of old Hawaii while still enjoying modern conveniences, this is the perfect place to stay. We can’t wait to return!

Best Cozy place My wife and I stayed at this cozy hotel instead of going into one of the big overcrowded hotels in Waikiki, and this place did not disappoint. Staff was friendly. Thanks for the front desk young girl. I think her name was Meygan or Maygan for recommending Waffle and Berry down the street and of course their inhouse bar for us to dine and relax in in.

Maygan C Had a wonderfully staycation with my family here and the service and hospitality was second to none. The staff provided exceptional customer service, especially Maygan at the front desk. Booking and checking out was effortless. Will definitely come back.
