Excellent Hotel in Houma This hotel is beautiful. We had a fantastic stay. The common areas are modern in design, clean and the pool area is amazing. The Desk Staff is beyond awesome. They are super friendly and will even provide you with all housekeeping needs, including all towels for your stay. There is also a Starbucks in the lobby which is a great addition. However, there is no free breakfast that is usually included in your Marriott stay. But there are plenty of choices of restaurants in the surrounding area. The location is great and close to Walmart, Marshalls, Target, Chick-fil-A, etc. The hotel is an hour from the New Orlean's airport (MSY) which is a negative. But I think it is worth the drive. Our room was extremely clean and a very nice size. The beds were extremely comfortable with quality linens. The balcony was nice too although it was summer so it was too hot to sit on it. The hallways were nice and quiet at night for good sleep. In addition, we loved having a washer and dryer that is located on each floor of the hotel. This was very convenient for a longer hotel stay. It also is nice that the Desk Staff will exchange bills for quarters since the banks nearby would not do so. Overall, I highly recommend this wonderful find in Houma, LA. We will definitely be back to this hotel for our next stay in Houma. Thank you all for a memorable and lovely stay.

Nurse Hotel staff is very friendly. Hotel is clean and well kept. Very fast check in and check out. Food is good. Covid 19 precautions taken. I love the Starbucks ☕️ in hotel. Very professional staff that are attentive to needs of client.

Terrible night and terrible service!! My husband and I stayed here for a night for Valentine’s Day. It started off good except there was no internet, but then another guest pulled the fire alarm right as we were going to sleep. This happened several more times throughout the night! We kept calling the front desk to make sure there wasn’t a fire, but no, it was just the same drunk guest being allowed to pull the fire alarm over and over! In the morning not a single apology or offer of restitution was offered. It wasn’t even acknowledged until I said I wanted a refund, then they apologized and said they couldn’t do that. Long story short, I’ve emailed and called everyone I could (including corporate), and only got excuses about why it wasn’t their fault. They finally gave me $30, but that’s not enough to make the experience less miserable. The internet sucked, channels on the tv was unsatisfactory (Hampton Inn has far better!) and not even free coffee in the morning. We will stick with Hampton Inn!!

Fantastic hidden gem The hotel was great, it was in a fantastic location. The service was above what I would have expected. The pool was great, had a nice balcony suite and always the breakfast was good. It was nice coming in after site seeing to relax at the bar.

INCREDIBLE STAFF AND PROPERTY! This is one of the hardest reviews I’ve had to write, because I don’t know how to express how exceptional the staff is at the Courtyard Inn by Marriott in Houma, Louisiana! The staff alone deserves more than five stars. It started with the fast and courteous check-in by Kristina and Brad. I have never been in the area before and these fine young representatives gave me great recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. They are courteous, friendly, sincere and extremely professional. I stayed five nights and had to bother them several times – yet they never made me feel like I was bothering them. Their help, advice and interest in what I had done that day was genuine and very much appreciated. I had two small issues and had to see the Front Desk Manager, Ms. Katie Fucci. It was immediately evident to me why the front desk personnel, mentioned above, along with tremendously wonderful Jordan and the third shift gentleman Mark (who was very helpful one evening), obviously emulate Katie and her professional demeanor, kindness, friendliness and generosity! One other person I want to mention, and I pray that I’m not forgetting anyone else, because everyone I had an interaction with was superb, is Kim. She is in housekeeping and is one of the most outgoing, friendly and kind people I’ve met. She was tremendously helpful and would not even except a small gratuity I try to give her. I sure hope that this review reaches the top rank s of not only the management (and Owners) at the hotel, but upwards in the Marriott chain. I will be bold enough to even say, maybe Marriott corporate should consider that this location be used for training for some of the other properties if they’re having issues-because the way I feel about these people and this property, makes me almost feel obligated to stay more often at Marriott properties. One final thank you again to Christina, Brad, Jordan, Mark, Kim and Katie for making me feel so comfortable. My best to all of you for a happy new year!
