they steal your money and cannot get in touch with anyone about refunds when leaving early DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY if i could give no stars i would. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THIS ORGANIZATION. i booked and paid for a full week. sun-sun. when i showed up at check in- they were not ready and i had to come back. no big deal. had nothing in kitchen for cooking... no big deal. that first night i killed 3 roaches. everytime i came back into room, more roaches. by tuesday i couldnt live with them anymore and decided to check out. it was tuesday evening. front desk personal told me he doesnt know how long until i get the refund. it took a long time for him to get it situated and i was late for an appointment, but when i left and looked at the paperwork i noticed he still charged me for Wed. i started calling. i called the hotel itself as well as extended stay 1800 number. left multiple messages about needing a refund for Wed. no response or reply. multiple emails. no response or reply. thursday i get a call and thinking it would be them returning my numerouse calls... nope, it was front desk saying i still owe a balance (I guess dude forgot to check me out after all the work he did). i explained how i checked out and still been trying to talk to manager. of course she said she wasnt in. in a nut shell.. they will rip you off and ghost when tryin to talk to someone in charge.

Would not recommend I couldn’t sleep the whole night and I just wanted a comfortable place to rest after long hours of flight. The furniture looks very old and dirty. I woke up in the middle of the night to the toilet and found LIVE COCKROACHES! And I am truly afraid of insects. I wanted to call the front desk but there was no phone in the room. Also there was a lot of noise in the early morning and no one at the front desk to do my checkout. Would NOT RECOMMEND!! Never staying in any Extended Stay again.

Worst ever If you like sharing a room with an army of cockroaches, this is the place for you. Very dirty rug and the housekeepers throw clean sheets on the rug while they make the bed. Taciturn managers uninterested in good customer service. The place is ill-equipped with supplies and you may or may not get any kitchenware for cooking and serving. A couple members of the staff are pleasant and professional. They may misread your bill and call you in the middle of the night, waking you up, asking for money that you already paid. If you decide to leave early because of the cockroach infestation and all the other disservices, they may change your daily rate and charge you more per day. Or, they may promise to refund the unused portion and then not actually do it, forcing you to go through other channels for a return of your money. It is more of a Substandard apartment building than a hotel, with permanent renters. it is owned by a franchise which is never a good thing for a national chain. There may be acceptable Extended Stay America hotels in the system but this was not one of them and I will never know of any others because after this experience, I would never rent from this chain again. Even the corporate guest services, while being very apologetic on the phone, does not follow up the Customer concerns, despite promises. It is probably the cheapest property in the chain at IAH but it’s not even worth that. You need a car to stay here because there’s no commerce nearby.

Nothing Works even the coffee pot don’t work The staff and manager is very friendly and courteous…the room was clean but the microwave the coffee does not work and you have to play with the stove top to heat to capacity and unknowingly there is a 30 minute timer on the wall to cut the stove top on…this is the second ESA I have been to in a week due to traveling in the Texas area this will be my last time staying at ANY ESA after this visit. I have to be able to make or reheat my meals due to being diabetic and this is a cost effective way from having to eat out constantly so in short these amenities need to be in working order.

Not recommended...runnn Extended Stay America. June 2021 Dont be fooled by the pictures. My room door open and when i went back downstairs to report it all the agent said was was everything cleaned. Sheets used, Towels used, Hair in bed, Roach crawling on walls, No floor towels, Pork chop bones in ac vent, loud music from few doors down, The carpet feels wet and mushy, black Mold around tub, Black mold in window, Another Room just few doors down was moldy and could smelled it while maid was cleaning and was door opened. They never have any towels, sheets, blankets. They gave me change of towels and sheets that smelled mildewy. Went downstairs for some bags and they were mildewy. Garbage piled up at end of both walkway. Was given a supposed to be cleaned sheets but it had blood in several places on sheet. Room is old and dingy. General cleanliness was lacking everywhere. Torn furniture, Holes in walls carpeting is worn, moldy, black, dirty, funky... Need I say more.... Runnnn
